The staff is very welcoming and does a great job of keeping you comfortable. I lost a pair of shoes from one stay to another (I made several stays here), and they were able to give me them back! The free breakfast is pretty good, but the only drawback is they only have two tables in the dining area (but since it was such a small lobby, it would be harder to put many more tables in there). Keep it up!

We drove down to Alabama from Wisconsin to do a walk through for a house we want to buy. It was a last minute decision but I was able to book a room with no problem. We have stayed at a Motel 6 here in Wisconsin and it was nasty. It being a cold state the room doors are inside like a normal hotel and the carpet in the hall was very wet. The room smelled and the carpet was dirty. When I requested someone to check on the carpet, the maintenance guy said its humid and it was normal. I had no choice but to stay because we were waiting for our new apartment to be ready. We were there for 2wks. There was drug and ************ deals going on at all hours and the staff seemed blind to it. So when we showed up to the Motel 6 in Hamilton, AL we were impressed!! It looked so clean and well maintained outside. When I checked in the lady was very nice and fast. As we walked into our room we noticed that the floor was hardwood! I loved it because it was pet friendly. Everything was clean except I did find a dead beetle and some hair on the floor. The room was very basic which was fine. We had a nice TV and small refrigerator. But there was no coffee pot, microwave, clock or little shampoo/conditioner. We were fine with it because we were only there for 2 nights and there were places close by to get what we wanted. We will for sure visit there again and tell our friends about how great it was.
