À very pleasant, informal tone is set at this family-run resort with about 70 rooms. The location is delightful and within walking distance of several local sights as well as on 2 bus routes that make it easy to explore other parts of the island. Staff are plentiful and generally friendly, although it is possible to discern a favouritism for the bigger spending groups and regular customers. Taking an inclusive package with meals is to be recommended as the food is of good quality and varied.
My main criticism would be that the facilities don't warrant the high price (well in excess of 400 USD pn in busy seasons, around 300 in low). For example the balcony door was missing, thus reducing privacy; there were no accessible sockets in the room (and no phone charger ports); no cushions or pads for the balcony furniture; and inadequate lighting for the top of the steps leading to the main building, that was actually rather dangerous. None of these things in themselves spoiled the holiday but reinforced the point that the resort is overpriced, notwithstanding that Bermuda is an expensive destination.
