A Hidden Gem by the Miami River – Perfect for Miami University Families and visitors to this area of the world. We had an incredible stay at this beautifully decorated hotel, housed in an authentic historic building right on the banks of the Miami River. The charm of the architecture combined with thoughtful interior design made it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Despite the hustle and bustle of the nearby pumpkin festival—just 100 yards away—our room was blissfully quiet, offering a perfect retreat after a day of festivities. The staff clearly take pride in their work and in maintaining the hotel to a high standard. Special thanks to Joey, who made our visit seamless. She ensured we had everything we needed and offered fantastic recommendations for local sights and dining spots. Her insights truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommended for families visiting Miami University or anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

Flew in from the west coast for a day and a half conference and, with the schedule had to arrive a 7am. They were more than accomodating and had my room ready to go when I got there. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. They do have a morning breakfast that was ok but a bit uneven. And the room was very comfy and not your typical layout...really liked it. Have to return to the area next year and will plan on going back.

Easy check in and spacious room. We were able to check in early to prepare for an event, which was much appreciated. Our room was clean, but it did smell musty (it's a really old building, so we weren't surprised). Otherwise, all was ok for a one-night stay.

Really Really Luv this Property - wanted to give 5 stars but just the lack of maintenance and broken coffee maker and they knew it was broken and just ignored it kinda killed that. We come twice a month and usually stay across the street. Really luv this hotel MORE! They are just lacking in some details and that extra effort. Great Beautiful room but ceiling in bathroom vent completely rusted out and spackled ceiling with no paint. For Tapestry Hilton and what is charged those details matter! It’s an easy fix! The resterant downstairs is another reason to absolutely luv this place ! Great Food ! Great Service with smiles and postive attitudes make it! Overall Luv this place and the Vibe just need a little more effort and smiles from The few hotel staff. Check in was great tho and I highly recommend this hotel ! - regardless :)

I recently visited this property when my daughter played in a tournament at the nearby Spooky Nook Sports complex. I was optimistic upon my arrival at the property as there was free on-site parking and the location of the hotel was quite good; it is walkable to a lot of the restaurants and shops on the "main drag" in historic Hamilton. The check-in process went okay, although there was no one at the front desk when I walked in and it appeared during my stay that the front desk is often unoccupied with staff members being in one of the offices in the back. I was hoping to be able to check in when I arrived at 1:30 but alas I was told my room would not be ready until 3:00 p.m. so our check-in ended up being delayed until after my daughter's games at around 6:30. I don't have significant status with Hilton, so I understood. Upon entering our room, I was impressed with the fit and finish, however there was a fairly strong drywall and/or paint smell which permeated the room. I did not think this would be an overwhelming problem so I did not mention it to the front desk until we checked out however those with a sensitive nose would not have tolerated this well. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice and well layed out. The custom tile throughout the shower was a very nice touch. Finally, we discovered a second quirk about our room, which is that the HVAC fan could not be turned off. This essentially meant that during our stay humid air from the outside was being ****** into the room so irrespective of what the room temperature was, it was somewhat humid. Again, I did mention this to the front desk when we checked out. Had it not been for the HVAC issue and the strong smell The room would have been a five out of five. As I previously mentioned, the location of this hotel is excellent. Directly across the bridge you have many of Hamilton's excellent restaurants and the sports complex was about a 15-minute walk away. I would say this location was probably also a five-star location. After dinner, I was excited for an opportunity to use one of the two destination EV chargers they have on-site. I had no trouble plugging in and getting charging to commence immediately. For those of you with EV’s, both stations have NACS ports only so CCS port owners will need an adapter. Additionally, the charge speed was about 6.6 KWH and there was NOT another EV charging next to me. It is possible that the two share a circuit, and if they do that charge rate would be cut in half. For me, an overnight charging session added about 65 KWH to my EV. After a so-so night of sleep (mostly due to the loud fan and room humidity), I went down to sample the hotel breakfast. My room rate was higher as I chose the “breakfast included” rate, so I had high expectations. The first morning, I was a bit underwhelmed. There were eggs and crispy bacon, which were both good. There were regular and chocolate chip pancakes, which were also good. On the other hand,

The pillows are down and smell like wet feathers. The beds are uncomfortable and linens do not seem hypoallergenic. Upon arrival of our 10 night stay for basketball, our sheets had hair, stains and were wet. Carpets and bathroom floors were dirty, smelled damp and musty. As we were from across the country and hotels in town were full we found we were stuck here. Things just got worse as we realized major humidity, hvac issues. Ceilings and wall infiltrated with moisture and leaking. Alerted staff and had hvac come in and said they would have to deal with it the following week as its a big problem. Thanks for letting them know. Visuals of walls and floors told the story long before the dripping in my air vents. I have felt anxious and frustrated this whole stay. Would never stay again and being only 6 month since opening after renovation they have some major issues. How does such an investment go south.
