Cosy and nice little hotel with astonishing decoration and large perfect comfort rooms. There is a fireplace living room as in an old british castle - go see it! Really good breakfast served in a room like 100 years ago, just amazing. The hotel is only 5 min walk from Central Train Station

I came in for three days of business and though that the reviews on the hotel seemed good. This hotel is OLD and dirty and small is an understatment. No air-conditioning and window would not open. I was dying the whole night it was a hot June night smelly no air flow and just plain horrible. DO NOT stay here, any place is better than here. I didn't even know before staying here but they even have rooms in the basement. ***

This hotel is located only five minutes walking from the central station. The room is decorated in a unique and original style, not like something you would see in your typical chain. The rooms are comfortable and fully equipped, including a little kitchen. Breakfast was offered for a very fair price in cooperation with the Best Western hotel next door, ensuring social distancing. The friendliness of the staff varied greatly, all were helpful and efficient, however some did it with a smile where others were a bit more serious. The only thing lacking was proper internet.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel im englischen Stil. Wirklich schöne, saubere und helle Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Besonders schön der Salon und Frühstücksraum mit tollem Frühstück! Alle Damen, mit denen wir im Hotel zu tun hatten, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage, sehr zentral in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Sollte ich wieder nach Hamburg reisen, werde ich wieder das Hotel City House buchen!

Sehr nettes kleines persönlich geführtes Hotel, zentral gelegen. Der Frühstücksraum und das Kaminzimmer sind äußerst gemütlich in englischem Stil eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war groß, ok von der Einrichtung, der Blick zum Innenhof nicht schön. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gibt einen Punkt Abzug für die wirklich schlechte Lage in einer heruntergekommenen mit Obdachlosen und Dealern besiedelten Gegend (dafür kann das Hotel allerdings nichts) und dass der Nachtportier nachts nicht da war, um unseren Bekannten (ebenfalls im Hotel Einquartierten) die Tür zu öffnen.

Das Hotel City House hat eine Ausstattung, wie man sich das britische Königshaus vorstellt. Für uns waren die Hundebilder etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Hotel ist aber sehr sauber und das Personal ist super. Die Getränke der Minibar gibt es auf Anfrage, der Gin Tonic war sehr lecker. Die Rezeptionistinnen haben alle Wünsche genauso gut erfüllt wie das Frühstücksteam. Alle im Hotel hatten immer ein Lächeln für uns übrig, deshalb können wir das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Das Frühstücksmenü war ok, es wurde immer nachgelegt, mir hat persönlich der Fisch gefehlt. Das Zimmer war groß genug, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig, nahe des Bahnhofes. Die Seitenstraßen beim Hotel sind etwas unheimlich, da sie teilweise von Obdachlosen und Drogensüchtigen bevölkert werden. Auf der Hauptstraße ist der Weg zum Hotel aber in Ordnung und wir wurden auch nicht belästigt.

1 Wahl für einen weiteren Aufenthalt in Hamburg. Eine phantastische Lage, 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof, U-Bahn, 2 Minuten zum Bus. Ein tolles Hotel mit einem eigenen Stil der hervorragend ist. Parken mit dem PKW ist leider etwas schwierig, aber ansonsten passt alles.
