Only the location is near to the Hamburg station but the rest it’s worst

We stayed at the Hotel Norddeutscher Hof for one night. The location is very close to the main train station, a 3-minute walk away, making it fantastic for people who arrive by train and then just want to get around the city using public transport. We liked our stay because the hotel was good value for money (breakfast was included) and it was clean. One problem if you arrive by car is that the parking spaces in front of the door are only for a maximum of 120 minutes and cost €3.50 per hour. The hotel provided a list of parking spaces/houses upon request, but one was very small and already full, and the other did not cost €20 as stated on the note, but after less than 24 hours we were already at €42. The friendliness of the staff was mixed. When I asked about parking, I was immediately told not to come and hope to be able to check in before 3 p.m. (which we never planned to do). The colleague who worked there afterwards, when we wanted to drop off our luggage at 2:15 p.m., was very friendly and simply gave us our room key. Our room was right next to the river and the building was old, so if you're very sensitive to noise, this might not be the right hotel. So all in all, it's definitely recommended for short stays and we would come again.

The price/performance ratio is quite good, but the carpet is a little old. Check in at 3 pm, no earlier.

It's next to Hamburg CENTRAL STATION. You can walk there after getting off the train. It's easy to find if you have luggage. There is a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, which is good and breakfast is also available. In terms of dissatisfaction, the black people's RECEPTION was not very friendly and seemed very impatient; the room was next to a street shop and it was a bit noisy at night, so I had to close the window to reduce the noise.

The room is small and the breakfast is quite warm. The transportation is very convenient

Great location, hotel was clean, staff lovely, room made up everyday and clean towels, continental breakfast was fine, no kettle or fridge in room

The room was clean and large, with plenty of storage, but a bit spartan, it could have done with some pictures on the wall or other decoration. Breakfast was continental with a fair choice. Great location just round the corner from Hamburg Central station

Traveling with one teen, the hotel was mainly clean with a very nice breakfast. Our room opened onto the very busy street, and since the weather was very hot we needed the window open so it was very loud late into the night with people yelling, throwing bottles, and sirens. There was no fan or refrigerator, the single beds were very narrow with barely any space between them. The bathroom was very small with no window so a shower resulted in high humidity in the room. On the plus side the location was near to the train and city center with many restaurant choices so it was convenient for sightseeing.

Rude staff at arrival, told me to wait untill He finished his cigarette. Was very surprised that I did not speak german and he barely spoke english. The wifi didn’t work in my room only When I was in the breakfast room (closer to the router). Also annoyed When I told them I had a guest arriving for one night staying with me. Breakfast was good - although Don’t arrive to late because after 10.30 you are asked to leave. Some of the staff was nice and smiley.

There was no air conditioning, and the room we stayed at did not have any Wi-Fi. When we requested to switch rooms so we would have Wi-Fi, they refused, and the lady at the counter was very rude. The elevator button on the 3rd floor is also broken, so we were not able to get the elevator up to our floor and would have to wait for the elevator to automatically come back up.
