The environment is quite good, facing Lake Tissa, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, it's so beautiful. The dinner options are okay, and the breakfast is because we are going to Safari, the hotel thoughtfully packed it for us to take away, the service is very good!

Nice rooms overlooking extensive rice paddies. The restaurant and pool were also located so as to overlook the same view. I think most visitors are coming to visit Yala Park. Available material indicated that there were nature hikes and a visit to a place where buffalo curd (yogurt) was produced. However upon inquiry, we were told that the buffalos were gone and that there were no hikes. It would probably be best to remove these suggestions from company material. However we did find a very nice hike through adjacent village back roads. The manager was very nice.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. When we requested to change our breakfast to dinner, we were met with a flat-out refusal, despite hearing that they accommodated a similar request for another couple. Their excuse was that the other couple had booked through ***********, insinuating that they might leave a review there. This blatant favoritism and lack of fairness in customer service were incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. In addition to the above grievances, the breakfast at this hotel was abysmal. The quality and variety of the food were subpar, and it left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, the air conditioner in our room was malfunctioning, causing it to drip water all night, making our stay uncomfortable and sleep-deprived. This combination of poor service, unfair treatment, terrible breakfast, and room issues made our experience at this hotel truly dreadful. I would strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your stay.

Amazing experience. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. The food is incredible, my wife is gluten free and has coeliac, therefore, she becomes very sick if she's eats food containing gluten. The head of the restaurant, I believe his name was Dilshan (apologize if this is wrong) was outstanding, he went out of his way to go through all the meals with my stating which ones were gluten free and even provided a plate of desserts which he got the chef to make specifically for her. Such a kind hearted gentleman. The service was phenomenal as per the other Jetwings we have stayed at. We will definitely be back.

Everyone said that this hotel is good, but no one said how pristine the road in is. If you only stay for one night and leave Yala, please do not book this hotel, especially during the rainy season, otherwise you will probably have to drive for several hours and face floods under heavy rain. Jinshan car did not dare to wade into the water rashly and had to ask for help from a jeep (additional fee). Another important information is that there are many mosquitoes in the room. People who are afraid of insects must not come here. If you are not afraid of insects, please bring toilet water.

The pictures on the official website of the room say it all, but there is a surprise that it is a family cocoon. It turns out that the price includes a twin bed room in addition to the master bedroom. The original intention is to give older children a small room of their own.
The food at the all-inclusive is very good. You can choose seafood and steak. The taste selection is online. For this quality of food, breakfast, lunch and dinner are worth 2000+ in Shanghai.
In terms of facilities, except for a larger swimming pool in the public area and a library spa, the other facilities are relatively lacking. Compared with the Hilton next door, the hotel has more safari excursions, which takes about 3 hours and only has 530 in the morning and 3 pm. Because the two time periods are not suitable, I talked to the housekeeper and arranged a separate car. Although the animals encountered in the whole yala are not as many as tourists, at least leopards and elephants are seen. It only takes 10 minutes to see, but it takes up more than half of the journey. However, the guide arranged by the hotel is an undergraduate student of zoology and is quite professional. Although he leads the group every day, he is more excited than me to see the animals. I love this job very much.
The hotel was invested by the owner of Dilmah, yes, the Dilmah that sells tea. When I left, I was given a can of tea with the owner's portrait as a souvenir.

The beach at the hotel is too wavy to swim and can only bask in the sun. But not far away, there is another public beach more than 100 meters, where you can swim. There are many choices for buffet breakfast and dinner, and the taste is good. Of course, there are occasional mistakes, such as grilled too raw beef shoulder. There are very few things for children to entertain. There is a game room where you can draw, watch TV, play games, etc., but the maintenance is not very good. The service is generally good, ushered in. However, there are more ingredients for the show, and some details need attention. Overall, the price / performance ratio is average, and it should be done.

The hotel has a lot of entertainment items, including small water park, swimming pool, billiards, table tennis, yoga, etc .; hotel rooms, lobby, BBQ, etc. are very beautiful. The only disadvantage is that the outside of the hotel is relatively barren. There are no other restaurants and restaurants.

Around 1 km walk to Tangalle center for shops -free pick up at train station Beliath -reception with fresh king coconut from your own garden -large modern room -all is proper -good bed with each two kiss -still airco -fast wifi - Very friendly and helpful owner staff is also very friendly - own restaurant with the best rice & curry we have eaten throughout Sri Lanka. You get very large portions at very fair prices. You can eat both inside and outside. -very good breakfast: choice from Westers or Sri Lankankees (hoppers, string hoppers, coconut roti, dhal curry, coconut sambol, coconut pancakes, fresh juice, fresh fruit / gigantic portions!) -option to book tours nearby (Kalametiya bird watching is a real adviser) or a taxi/tuktuk to your destination at fair prices - they bring you and get you to a beach a few kilometres away free

GGuest UserVery close to Lake Thieu, the room is about 30 square meters, consistent with the picture, wild hotel, furniture facilities do not have too high expectations, there is a small creature inside is normal and acceptable. Someone helped carry luggage to the room when staying at the hotel. The dinner was very rich, the meal was included in the reservation, which was better than the restaurant we had eaten a few days ago, and the price was super high. Service in the meal is also good. Because the next day I had to get up early to go to Yarra Park, the hotel's packed breakfast was also very rich.

The only drawback is, it is but far from the park. You need to travel for 30minutes. But, the accommodation is extraordinary.

GGuest UserFantastic Yala Safari and great little hotel! We had a great time staying here - and went on a great Jeep safari with Pasanna organised through the hotel. The whole family (2 teenage boys) were totally enthralled by the safari and would totally recommend Pasanna! We went on the full day safari (starting at 430am … totally worth the early start to be the first in the park!!) - which allowed a full day of immersion and a slightly more relaxed pace. (The half day safaris seemed much less relaxed…). Pasanna the driver/ guide has over 13 years experience in the park, had great 4wd drive skills, clearly knew all of the possible routes in the park - and was passionate about showing us all that was possible in the park! He was excellent at spotting hard to see animals! Note that all jeeps have to have 12-2 as rest time in the park …. We easily passed it having lunch and reading books- when the jeeps are not allowed to drive around) . We managed to see a great selection of animals including 2 leopards (which I hear is very rare), multiple families of elephants with their babies which we were able to watch for an extended period of time, water buffalo, deer, samba deer, mongoose, jackals, monkeys, peacocks, lots of amazing birds, crocodiles, monitors and bats. It truly felt like the jungle book. We got home tired, but truly satisfied with the experience! Definitely felt like it was value for money.

GGuest UserIt started on the wrong foot where I was informed that the Hotel is unable to provide the Tree House which I booked and alternate accommodation was offered on a ground floor mud chalet with a late checkout. I was indeed disappointed and that's when I spoke to the Hotel. From the moment I phoned the experience was unbelievable. The owner of the property, Ms Charitha did her best to explain the mishap and to compensate and to make me feel comfortable offered so many add ons on a free of charge basis and also promised to get me a Tree House if a change takes place. My next call was on the day of arrival to get few directions and wasn't I pleasantly surprised to hear that a Tree House was ready for us I was introduced to their efficient manager Mr Prasanga who made sure that we got the correct directions and upon arrival we were given the best possible treatment. It was a classy Tree House, secluded but very close to nature. It was very spacious and super clean. Tea / Coffee / or even a fresh juice was just a telephone call away and it was all for free. Mr Prasanga and his Team was at our disposal even for the tiniest of requirement s and made sure that we are comfortable. Going to bed with nature was a first time experience for myself and my wife and it was a very special experience. We were greeted with a hot cuppa coffee, the following day morning and the Sri Lankan breakfast with Milk Rice and Pol rotti was out of this world. I was willing to forego the complimentary lunch which was offered in lieu of the Tree House but the Hotel staff persuaded that we do not miss the ”The Farmer's Lunch” prepared the traditional way in a nearby farmhouse. The hotel staff even accompanied us to visit a nearby farm (known as a Hena in Sinhalese) The Farmer's lunch was another unique experience where 12 curries were served in a natural setting. A must try to any visitors. We checked out shortly after lunch after an unforgettable stay at Saraii Village. Many Thanks to Charitha, Prasanga and everyone else at the property
