Great place to stay if you are visiting Yala National Park. Very new and well maintained facilities with the team of professional warmly welcomes you.

We went there in the 1st week of November for my son's birthday. On the whole it was a unique and amazing experience. The food especially was one of the best we have had. We cant go out of the room after 6PM unless for using a buggy to reach the restaurant.

From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Pre-Arrival and Welcome Shortly after booking, I received an email from my personal assistant at the front desk, who provided all the relevant details for my stay. Their attentiveness ensured a seamless transfer to the property, leaving me stress-free and ready to relax. Upon arrival, the front desk team greeted me warmly, making me feel instantly at home. Located in the heart of the Yala Jungle, and just a 15-minute drive from the renowned Yala National Park, the hotel offers an ideal base for those seeking adventure and wildlife exploration. The check-in process includes a security briefing by a knowledgeable ranger, which is both informative and reassuring, given the presence of wildlife such as elephants and a crocodile near the bio pond. The hotel’s private beach is equally adventurous and requires accompaniment by a ranger due to the possibility of encountering wild animals. The Villas: A Luxurious Oasis in the Jungle Transfers to the villas are done via buggy, adding to the exclusive feel of the experience. The villas themselves are a masterpiece of luxury – beautifully designed, private, and equipped with everything you could need, including a private pool and sun deck. As a Diamond Member, I was twice upgraded to one of the finest villas, a gesture that truly elevated my stay. Inside the villa, I found thoughtful amenities like a Nespresso machine, tea pods, a minibar, a safe, and even guest flip-flops. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job keeping the space spotless and ensuring that no jungle creatures ventured indoors. My villa was in pristine condition, and everything worked flawlessly, as if brand new. One morning, I even had a visit from a monitor lizard sunbathing on my terrace – a unique reminder of the hotel’s extraordinary location. Dining: A Culinary Adventure The dining experience at Hilton Yala was nothing short of exceptional. Every evening, the chef personally greeted guests, offering personalized recommendations based on the freshest local ingredients. The service staff were equally impressive – knowledgeable about the menu and always eager to ensure a memorable dining experience. The menu is thoughtfully curated, emphasizing local flavors rather than imported options, which I deeply appreciated. For example, fresh local shrimp takes center stage instead of frozen salmon flown in from abroad. The presentation and taste of every dish were impeccable, and the wine menu catered to a wide range of preferences. A standout touch was the homemade ice cream and sorbets, which were simply divine. On my birthday, the staff went above and beyond, singing Happy Birthday, serving a delicious cake, and offering a glass of champagne. Being there was one of my best decisions. After a week full of trip in Sri Lanka, we chose to stay at Hilton yala to relax and enjoy the nature,and it was perfect. The staff,the food,the place,the ambience,everything was just perfect. I'm sorry I can't mention all the staff one by one but they were really nice and helpful. Surely will come again for another trip,and will try the deep sea fishing.... thank you guys :)
