We were upgraded to a sea view room which was nice. But it was different from the pictures. The so-called direct access to the beach was not reliable because the balcony was full of bushes and the beach was too small to play. We just went there to lie flat and sleep for three days.

The feeling of vacation is full when you enter the hotel. The room is OK but there are a lot of bugs. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel, Italian, Asian and buffet. There are some tourist restaurants around the hotel, which are not recommended. It takes about half an hour to drive to any restaurant that is worth your attention. When you check out, you should take a good look at the bill. There are several extra items such as turtle protection fees for no reason.

Total class and indulgence from begin to end!A truly unique and individualised experience from arrival to departure. Thoroughly enjoyed the traditional values and mutual respect evident throughout our stay.The food in all restaurants was exquisite and everywhere was spotless and very well cared for. In particular the Italian restaurant perched on a cliff treated us to the best of cuisine in the most amazing surroundings where we were treated to stunning views and an amazing sunset. The chef also joined us and was genuinely interested in our gastronomic experience. Honestly I felt I was in another world. The local wildlife enhanced our stay namely the chipmunks and peacocks .However star of the show was Thisari Navada our designated host who was virtually at our disposal 24/7 for guidance, info and organising everything .Thisari’s enthusiasm and friendly disposition along with her attention to detail made our stay truly unrivalled.Thank you to all involved …… a memorable experience for all the right reasons!

The hotel has a beautiful small private beach, not really suitable for swimming but to relax and enjoy the view. I liked the complimentary activities like sunrise and sunset yoga, a unique harvest ceremony, boat ride and gym. The food options are diverse, delicious and the service of the staff is exemplary and very kind. It is a good choice if you just want to relax but also if you want to explore the area around with possibilities to visit Ella and Yala Nationalpark on a daytrip.
