I have been coming here off and on since 2004. Had hoped that new management would have improved things since my last visit in 2022, but sadly not. Rooms are dirty (and have not been upgraded since about 2011). Staff uncaring and difficult to communicate with, although the 2 members of staff I have known all this time are friendly and fine. All the really good staff left years ago. Ayurveda here used to the the gold standard, but is now just a conveyer belt activity carried out by semi-qualified staff, at least one of whom told me he was leaving in 10 days. WiFi is rubbish - to be fair it was never brilliant, but even that has deteriorated. Good points: The pool is still glorious The food is still authentic and delicious Seriously considering leaving earlier than planned. What a great shame as this was once paradise.

We were enchanted by the hotel with its beautiful natural garden and large pool. The three-week Ayurveda treatment was wonderful. We returned home very healthy and refreshed with lots of new energy. The therapists and hotel staff (Mr Senaka and Mr Eranda) were very professional, friendly and competent. The yoga in the morning and evening was very valuable and supportive for us. The Ayurvedic food was great and delicious. We would love to come back!

We stayed two nights when touring Sri Lanka. Positives: beautiful gardens, sounds od nature: birds, ocean waves. You can observe monkeys and peacocks. Very helpful and atentive personel. Ocean beach just a few steps away from the hotel. Food was fine, local, and plenty. Negatives: our room was very outdated, dirty and we didn't have warm water morning or evening so it was cold shower ❄️or nothing. There was some fungus in our bathroom and the amenities were very outdated, used, cracked or rusty.

Stayed here at the end of december 2024 to the middle of January 2025. Generally, very good hotel with very helpful and kind staff. Restaurant is also not bad, though prices are a bit higher than average, but given that to get to another restaurant you need to pay about 2000 LKR for tuktuk, the difference isn't going to be that significant. The only drawback is the beach or its absence... Don't get me wrong it's there and you can even walk around it, but no swimming owing to enormous waves. So if you want to swim you need to get tuktuk that will bring you to the nearest beach, which is about 1.5km from the hotel or you can simply go there on foot. Besides that, no other inconvenience. Hotel's worth its stars.

First of all I want to mention that the hotel staff was amazingly nice and they were super friendly pluse well behaved people.specially the Guest Relations Executive Ms “kanchana”,she was very polite and so professional. when it’s comes to their rooms,they were nice and clean.everything worked perfectly fine.washrooms were super cleaned.so it was a great experience and its far better than we expected it to be.and the foods were really delicious too so therefore I’m concretely happy with the service they provided to us and i highly recommend this place for the guests who looking for a place that calm and peace.

It is a great place to relax and visit beautiful places like Bird Paradise and Hambantota Town. We enjoyed the great food and hospitality at the hotel, especially the innovative ideas of Food and Beverage Manager Kasim. The Front Office staff are friendly and helpful. We received personal service, which made our trip memorable. The beach is a few yards away. There is lots of space in the front and back gardens, which are full of birds, especially peacocks. Rooms are well appointed with all amenities. The highway from Colombo to Hambantota facilitated smooth and fast transport.

Excellent place for a day outing with family and friends. The picturesque and tranquil environment and the stunning beach and lagoon enhance its uniqueness. Specially the hotel manager Mr.Senaka is a smart and humble person. Staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our day out. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. 100% recommended.

Two night stay with family and kid was an excellent experience. Lush garden, nice long beach, clam and quiet environment really made this place wonderful. We felt very welcome here with the very friendly and courteous hospitality of Mr. Eranda and all the staff. Felt like family. Also food was great and tasty. Definitely would love to be back here again !
