Great food, great sleep ,great people ,great location on the beach. This is a small busy hotel with friendly staff and a great chef serving fresh fish. They can arrange transport and local tours . Good bird life and nature. Evening dining outside a treat.

A very well run hotel. The hotel is immaculately clean and provides a very relaxed atmosphere with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfasts, lovely pool, great beachfront location, terrific freshly caught fish (on request fish options available too), but above all the lovely staff and particularly the manager (Nalin), who went out of his way to make our stay very special and personal. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights, wanted a very quiet beach front stay away from the crowds and this was perfect. Long virtually deserted and unspoilt beach, just a few isolated hotels and local fishermen for miles. Hotel is very comfortable, team are all top rate, recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast and the wildlife tour of the freshwater lagoon immediately behind the hotel.

This is one of the most beautiful resorts in an amazing secluded nature we have ever experienced in Sri Lanka. Jannith and Nalin are doing a great job with their entire team. Always friendly, eager on making the great stay even a bit greater, taking care of excursions, individual wishes. We had a beachfront room overlooking the ocean, very clean, good beds. The restaurant is serving great Sri Lanka and Western food. The atmosphere is friendly, calm, familiar. The entire resort is very neat and well kept.

Off the beaten track but worth the effort right on the beach. You can walk along the beach for miles and not meet anybody but a lot of surf and not suitable for bathing at this time of year. On the top floor great view very relaxing great pool. Ideally you need your own transport . Have no hesitation in recommending this venue and would return anytime.

We have stayed in many places all round Sri Lanka, north, south, east, west , middle etc . Having walked past this beautiful place previously on another trip, we decided to return for a more relaxing stay ( compared to what we had taken on previously in Sri Lanka) There is nothing at all to complain about, it’s clean, the room views are fantastic, the price is great ( remember you get what you pay for). The staff are all fantastic. Yes it’s off the beaten track, if you want to party go elsewhere. Of course the waves can be heard ( I’ve seen this complained about) And of course there is no lifts, it’s a tiny place. We initially booked 7 nights and with the hotel being perfect for our stay we extended to 14 nights Scooters available to hire, they will get one delivered for you, airport transfer no problem ( additional cost naturally). Food is fantastic. As with the whole of the southern part of Sri Lanka insect repellent is needed at times. Why go anywhere else

What a beautiful small resort - 12 rooms on two 3-storey blocks. We had Room 11 - top floor with large balcony overlooking the pool and facing the sea. Perfect! Rooms are large and very clean (the whole place is particularly clean) with a large bathroom. Pool is large (approx 20m x 30 m) and crystal clean. For a small resort, breakfast was very good. Not buffet, but dishes are brought to your table. Absolute beachfront with natural habitat behind leading to lagoons and wetlands. Highly recommended.
