It's about a 10-minute drive from Halong Bay Market, so the location is good, and the staff were friendly and nice!! My parents made a reservation for me when they went on a trip, and they said they were satisfied.

It was a quick stop having travelled from Hanoi. Typical high rise hotel with no views but more than adequate for one night stay. Location so-so but breakfast was excellent with a good spread including big prawns! Unusual for breakfast? Staff were pleasant.

I had read bad comments, but the hotel had to change direction, because it was very good: large, bright and very clean rooms, practical bathrooms, with good free products, quiet. A very small swimming pool on the top floor, but which has the merit of being there. Varied breakfast.

越南遊的9日旅程，我們一落機就去了下龍灣。所以我們在越南的第一個晚上，就在一個算是遊客中心區的地方，下榻酒店了。而每一次參加一些要穿州過省的旅行團，對準備要下榻什麼酒店，就像是開盲盒一樣。那天，我們晚飯後，基本上，來到門口才知道，住一晚的叫《New Era Hotel & Spa》(原本叫 Galaxy Hotel)。 酒店，似乎是個體式經營。一入來就感覺到，小酒店有少少的 family business 感覺。而且服務的都是本地居住的男女，既好客又親切。 始終，越南屬於一個熱帶地方，所以酒店房間是沒有地毯的。亦因為這樣，夏天來，房間的感覺應該會幾清爽。可是，我們來的日子是冬天，感覺就有點冷冷的。 浴室及廁所，是一個簡潔乾淨的設計。如果有浴缸，就真係安心享用啦。再者，我發現這一個國家的酒店，都好喜歡 open barthroom 既設計。喜歡的話，可以卷起浴簾，誘惑同房的好友。 早上，就有一個自助早餐。沒想到，這一家小小的酒店，也許是專門招待旅行團的酒店，會有一個非常豐富的自助早餐。 然而，大家來到越南，好自然地會想到吃河粉。所以，我在越南的第一日早餐，就是一碗可愛的河粉。 這一碗簡單的河粉，味道很香，而且，河粉的口感非常好，吸了汁之後仍然有一種像是在吃麵的感覺。 之後，我就選擇其他的熱食。選的都是一些亞洲式的食品。可以講，這酒店的早餐選擇，沒有一項是不好吃，不合大家胃口的。當然，即叫即煎的雞蛋，更是當日早上的大人氣食品。同團的團友，至少都一人拿一隻。 睡眠質素好，食品又啱胃口。更開心的，就是酒店樓下有些小商店，小食肆，我們差點忍不到手，在旅程的第一日就買東西了。幸好，我們知道，尚有8日的行程，沒有光顧酒店樓下，專門針對中國及韓國遊客的手信店同食店。 亦因為樓下夠多東西，附近也是小酒店林立的街道。若是自由行來到，這酒店，都是一間值得 book 既酒店。
