The staff were friendly and professional. It was located on a main road but away from Ha Long centre/ Marina which gave us the best of both worlds i.e. tourist hotspots and local hotspots. The breakfast buffet was splendid; too many choices so we were not able to try all of them despite being there for four breakfasts. The Infinity swimming pool and bar was a dream; had it all to ourselves because no one was up there swimming around early afternoon. The beach was a 15 minutes walk away and the main touristy beach was under five minutes motorbike ride.

Perfect all around, and the swim pool was even spacious to swim in laps.
The bay view from the top floor swim pool/bar and from the room wa absolutely stunning, too.
A stellar jewel that made Ha long as comfortable as possible, and I will definitely recommend this premise to any people looking for the bay area stay.

We stayed at The Watson Hotel in Ha Long for three nights, and it was fantastic. Our room on the 20th floor was beautifully designed and high-quality. The breakfast was decent, offering a good mix of Western options and fresh fruits. The highlight was the rooftop infinity pool, offering stunning views of the illuminated city at night. While our city-facing room had slight street noise, it didn’t bother us, even as light sleepers. For an even better experience, I’d recommend spending a bit more on a sea-view room for breathtaking views of Ha Long Bay and a quieter atmosphere.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful, the room view was amazing and the infinity pool on the roof was a great place to relax. I highly recommend.

Very good quality hotel. Clean and comparable to a decent 5-star hotel chain. Excellent amenities including sky bar, rooftop pool, spa, gym. Breakfast was also very good. Staff were helpful throughout. Bai Chay is a good location for booking a sightseeing cruise to the HaLong Bay islands as the boat harbour is close by. There are many restaurants and local shops adjacent to the hotel, although not much regards western-type restaurants or bars. Overall great value for the price 👍

Only one recommendation: Maybe they can provide towels and Desinfektion in the gym for the future.

Loved it!! We had booked the balcony, ocean facing. We got level 16. Views and natura light are too good.
