The positive: you can completely do without human contact. You can check in on the computer, but you don't need to check out. The location right on the Hallmarkt and next to a Rewe is unbeatable. Unfortunately, that's where it ends... The staff at reception (I checked in in person) were very unfriendly/unmotivated. The rooms are supposed to have a functional or minimalist character, but ultimately they are just cheaply furnished - single-ply toilet paper, not even a toothbrush cup, not enough hooks for a towel and even if there were, the towels didn't have a tab to hang them on... Socket only on one side of the bed, blankets too small, shower fitting broken. Unfortunately, there are just a lot of little things that detract from the overall picture and the night isn't so cheap that I would say it's worth the price. It's OK for one night, but Halle has better things to offer for more!
