Ceri and Carol were very welcoming hosts and the quality of everything in their b&b was outstanding. My room, The Woodpecker, had a great view of the beautiful garde. It was only an easy 15 minute drive to Glyndebourne and ,on the return journey there was a good pub serving foood and local ales just a five minute walk away. I’ve never come across such a wide choice for breakfast, I think there were 18 different jars of cerials and at least a dozen choices of cooked breakfast which were served in a most elegant breakfast room.

What a super treat staying at Beechwood. Cery and Carol are the best hosts one could wish for, and their B&B is very clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a beautiful garden where we could sit and relax after our journey. Our room was lovely and, whilst not en-suite, we had an immaculate all new bathroom to ourselves. Breakfast choices are many and varied and scrumptious!

Friendly and attentive hosts who recognise guests needs and expectations. Large, well equipped (eq ceiling fan to aid cooling), comfortable room well supplied with various teas, coffee and milk with a useful fridge. Excellent breakfast and a broad range of choices. We liked the large breakfast table which facilitated a friendly atmosphere which where we could meet other guests and gain recommendations of places to visit in the area Well placed to explore the wider area.

Fantastic experience. Beechwood is a large house, half of which is for B&B guests. House and rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The garden is spectacular. There is a large lounge. A superb breakfast is served in the conservatory. Ceri and Carol were excellent hosts. We can recommend unreservedly.

We stayed in the peacock room which was extremely comfortable and were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The rooms are very well equipped and the breakfast very generous! Perfect for an “on the road” stop while visiting the outskirts of Lewes.
