A very nice place to stay.
The place itself is located just outside the city area. You don't feel as if you are in Liverpool at all until you drive less than half a mile and there it is. The grounds are like a garden with greenery all around. Our room also overlooked a field on one side. It is located near the flight path into the airport, as some of the previous reviews said, but it's not a problem even if you don't like aircraft. You hardly notice it, to be honest. We couldn't even hear them in the morning as planes don't seem to land much before 8am. very convenient place indeed.
The room we had was large, apart from a double bed it had a put you up bed too, a tea & coffee table, a nice and very clean shower and a TV with a bundle of channels to pick from.
Breakfast menu was great. Plenty to choose from and it was well stocked. It's a particular bugbear of mine when you stay in B&B's where you leave in the morning feeling hungry. We certainly didn't have that problem here.
The chap that runs the place is very friendly. Very down to earth and very easy to get along with.
We will certainly be returning once again when we visit this summer. I doubt there are too many places where you get pretty much all you want and need from a night's stay. This B&B is highly recommended from me and my other half, and I'm not the easiest of people to please:)
