We spent the most delightful evening at Wild Horse Bar & Grill where we were treated like family from get go @ had the best apple crumble prepared by the loveliest station cook who also cooked us up a solid farm-style breakfast. We were treated to a most remarkable sunset lookout, & had the cosiest night in the Stone Cottage, which had the most comfy bed & everything we needed for a group of 2 couples. We loved every minute & wish we had time to spend a week there! Highly recommend, even in summer as the pool looked amazing!

I had the best experience staying in the Stone Lodge at Ooraminna Station last month. I was so looking forward to this rustic stay the most out of my entire trip to the Outback. It was Beyond my expectations! The caretakers Leo and Bianca were perfect hosts! I was pretty much the only one there, and they made me feel so at home. I can't believe they run take care of that huge property, the animals the guests and the restaurant all by themselves! Amazing. My cabin was nice, and cozy and clean. Fiona the donkey became my instant friend. She stuck by me from the minute we met. I wish I could have taken her home. Thanks Leo for the top notch meals that you created just for me. And Thanks Bianca for being such a great host! I miss it there already.

Great cabins with rustic character, so peaceful, lovely staff with Sara looking after us so well. beautiful pool looking out over the countryside.

We camped in our van at Ooraminna Station and enjoyed dining at the homestead where Kathy’s hospitality was excellent. The wild rocky landscape, the beautiful swimming pool, unusual features including the film set, the pretty goats and Fiona the donkey made our couple of days here very enjoyable.

Great place and pool great weekend getaway! Recommend it to anyone wanting weekend getaway. Great sunset Great pool, lots of facilities Great dinner with a varied range of food. Good camping facilities Lovely set up on top of the hill for sunset

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Ooraminna Station on the weekend. The staff were lovely and the food was some of the best we had ever had. The cute animals following us was a bonus. Cabins were clean and well situated, hadn’t lost any of its heritage at all. Highly recommended to anyone
