Once the Habsburg imperial family’s baroque summer residence, Hotel Knappenstöckl used to be Halbturn Palace’s residential wing. All rooms have views of the castle courtyard or the palace gardens. Im Areal des Schlosses Halbturn zugängig vom Innenhof oder vom Park befindet sich das nette Lokal mit mehreren Räumen und einen wunderbaren Schanigarten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Eine interessante Menükarte mit angemessenen Preisen

Wir haben direkt im Knappenstöckel gebucht und von der Anreise bis zur Abreise war alles wunderbar! Wir hatten die Suite "Pinot Noir". Ein großzügiges Zimmer in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Alles da, was man braucht und das Bett war super bequem. Wir wurden von Familie Wieser persönlich begrüßt und das ist genau das, was man sich wünscht. Parken konnten wir unser Auto am kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt beim Schloss. Wir haben auch im Hotelrestaurant zu Abend gegessen und gefrühstückt. Alles war liebevoll gekocht und angerichtet. Wir möchten uns vor allem beim Servicemitarbeiter Herrn Gabor für die "Rundumbetreuung" bedanken. Seine Tipps für die perfekte Weinbegleitung und seine so herzliche Mentaltität haben den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Die "Chefleute" kümmern sich beim Frühstück persönlich um ihre Gäste und servieren das Frühstück, Kaffee und Eiergerichte auf Wunsch. Ein persönliches Gespräch ist natürlich auch inkludiert und zeigt den liebevollen "Touch" des Hotel Knappenstöckl. Da uns der hauseigene Wein, hergestellt in der Kellerei des Schosses, so gut geschmeckt hat, haben wir noch für zu Hause etwas mitgenommen. Fazit: ein tolles, altes aber nicht verstaubtes Haus, in das wir gerne wiederkehren werden! Danke für den schönen Kurzurlaub an die Familie Wieser und ihr Team.
