We originally planned to stay for only three nights, but our kids loved the water park so much that we added an extra night. They played until exhausted every day, swimming until closing time and refusing to return to their rooms. The hotel is a one-stop shop, with a wristband that allows you to eat, drink, and play, which is very convenient. The only problem is that the hotel towels aren't changed daily. Fresh towels were only provided on the first day of check-in, and you had to rent them from the sauna for the next few days, which required a deposit. Overall, our five-day stay was a wonderful experience, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We were reluctant to leave and look forward to our next visit.

Tropical Island itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, they don't just close one of the two pools, they close one pool completely, and then you're only allowed to swim in the second pool in a very small, cordoned-off area. This doesn't reflect what's promised on the website. Unfortunately, the mattress in the safari tent where we slept was broken and torn, and the fresh sheets were bloody with old stains. The food on site is expensive, but not much better than the canteen.
