Beware! I recently booked a 2 week stay at Kokoro in Nov 2022 for a stay in late Feb 2023. I paid my deposit via Paypal, they confirmed my booking & payment. I then had to cancel due to a change in plan. They claim not to have received the payment, I've escalated the issue with Paypal, and provided proof of payment. This is simple fraud, they actually confirmed my initial payment in writing. A poor review seems the only option, does anyone know any next steps to take e.g. lawyer, police, hotel association? This is a pity, puts a big dent in ever skiing in Japan. Unless, you're absolutely sure you're going, don't book the Kokoro.
