Great place to stay right on a ski run with ski in facilities.. It’s also quite close to bars and restaurants. The only issue is the hotel advertises that all rooms have bathrooms - but that is not the case. A number of rooms don’t have a bath or a shower! We didn’t have one which came a real surprise and had to book a private bathroom three floors down for each morning. If you stay at this hotel make sure you book a room with a shower! In this day and age not having a shower in all rooms is really not three or even two star accommodation.

Very satisfied with the accommodation! If you take the bus yourself, you can ask the guesthouse to arrange a private car to pick you up from Tsugaike Kogen Bus stop (reservations can only be made by phone). The rooms are the same as in the photos, the rooms on the 2nd floor have bathrooms, but the rooms on the 3rd floor do not. The restaurant overlooks the ski resort, and there is free wine during happy hour and dinner. I've stayed in many other B&Bs and hotels that require additional fees. The outdoor hot spring is a bit small and will be crowded if there are more than 4 people.
