Had a lovely stay in Ruru Cottage. The Cottage is lovely and comfortable and I spent a relaxing afternoon sitting in the hanging cane chair on the deck reading my book with a cup of tea. The location is beautifully peaceful, quiet and private, set in a lovely garden space. There is a small kitchenette in the cottage, so you can prepare simple meals if desired, which works well as it is a little out of town. My only suggestion would be to install a small air conditioner, as the cottage was quite warm, and there was only one small window that had a fly screen that could be opened to allow the cooler evening air in. Would definitely recommend the Hideout and would stay again if I’m back in the area.

I absolutely loved our stay here! Super clean, relaxing and had heated floors. Our view was absolutely stunning and was beautiful to wake up to. Highly recommend a stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for such a great experience.
