I booked a room with Ctrip. I thought it was an old hotel after reading the reviews, but I was surprised when I came in. The room environment is very good, the facilities are not old, it is quiet, it is close to the duty-free shop, and it feels very safe next to the provincial government. The bedding is silky and clean, and it is a good place to sleep. I was very relieved and also gave two bottles of milk and two small lucky bags as gifts, which felt good. When leaving the hotel, the concierge Wang Mingyang helped load the car and carry the luggage. He was very polite and thumbs up.

This was a very bad experience. Check-in at noon told the front desk that because of maintenance, there will be hot water around 4:30 in the afternoon. I just entered the room and turned on the air conditioner. There was no electricity. After I hung up the phone twice, I sent someone to check. The card was broken and I couldn't get electricity. Then the amount of water was very small. The front desk sent someone to deal with it twice, and the treatment was normal. Then, when the hot water reached 5 o'clock, it hadn't come yet, and it was 6 o'clock. When asked about the situation later, it was slow. It was hot, but I didn’t wait for it all night. I got up the next morning and there was no hot water after 8 o’clock. I informed the front desk that there was no hot water in my room to change the room. I didn’t take a shower all day and night on a hot day. I was in a bad mood. Yes, when I came back from breakfast, I found hot water came on, and it was the check-out time.

I feel that only children who want to play in the water can use it. Otherwise, the position of the bathtub will be very awkward. Behind the wall on the left hand side of the entrance door is the shower room. To the right of the entrance door is the bathroom and next to the sink. You can have a clear view of everything coming and going!

The hotel is newly opened, very close to the arcade, and the transportation is very convenient. The parking lot at the door is large. The hotel is next to the park. We asked for a room on the park side, which was very noisy. The park played loudspeakers from morning to night. The hotel staff was very friendly, the doorman helped us carry our luggage to the car, and breakfast was very convenient. The morning tea at Longquan Courtyard next to it was very delicious. Malls and western restaurants is a short ride away (+-5kms) via DiDi. The room is outrageously big, clean and pretty modern. The shower is powerful, effective and extremely hot - my room highlight. The customer service was superb and they accommodated my change in travel plans towards the end of my stay. I would recommend this hotel if you want to live amongst the local people, looking for something affordable and wanting a spacious room.

The rooms are spacious and clean, most important the beds are good size and quite comfortable. There is a pool next door with hot tub (natural) which was nice and enjoyable. We had a three stay as we were visiting family in Haikou, I can recommend the hotel.

The hotel is located in the city center and is convenient for travel. The surrounding supporting facilities are complete. People's Park is only a 10-minute walk away. I went for a jog in the park early in the morning and experienced the local life of Hainanese. After my morning exercise, I walked to Dad's Tea Room next to the hotel. The breakfast was rich in variety and affordable. It happened to be my wife's birthday on the day we checked in. The hotel thoughtfully sent us a birthday cake, which made our trip to Hainan a happy ending.
