The front desk receptionist was very efficient and polite in checking in. The decoration style of the room is elegant and unique. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view. The night view at night is also beautiful. The room is very clean. The professional and high level of the management team can be seen from every detail. I especially like their toiletries. They use Goodper, the same brand as the Sheraton Hotel Group. It is a high-end brand with a classic oak fragrance. The shampoo is also very easy to use. After washing, the hair is very smooth. It also comes with a bottle of body lotion, which is a must-have for girls in the air-conditioned room. It is really considerate. The bedding is also very comfortable. I have previously stayed at the Sofitel in Haitang Bay a few times so am quite familiar with their style and service and I have to say Sofitel. haikou actually exceeded my expectations. Considering it is just in a tall building, they've done a very good job to give it a 'resort' feel. They've achieved this through really excellent customer service and with decent facilities. The rooftop pool is nice and has sunbeds around the side (not really visible in the photos). I always value a gym in a hotel and I am a lift weights alot and I would say this is one of the best hotel gyms I've been to that isn't an actual commercial gym. It has a good enough range of equipment for anyone who regularly goes to the gym. We also had the club access and the ladies who worked in the clubroom, Kristy and Shirley were excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The level of English was also very good and I also appreciated that reception allowed me to check out at 4pm at no extra cost, which is always a good representation of customer service. Would recommend if you want resort vibes in the middle of the city.

Up to par international hotel, I don't have any worries from the moment I booked the hotel since it's a Hilton group hotel, I knew everything would be in order and definitely would meet my expectations. But what exceed my expectation is the good service and attitude from Bob, a concierge staff who is so helpful and caring in making sure airport transfer service I booked was smooth. Very attentive, he took his initiative to follow up everything for me. Thumbs up for the excellent service!

Best service I’ve ever received at a hotel. Upon checking in staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was immaculate after service, clothes even neatly folded. Towels and bed sheets seemed brand new! Great stay, would highly recommend.

I do not recommend this hotel unless you are just going to sleep there only. If you plan to spend anytime in the hotel room, order food, or even just think that someone will come and bring fresh towels then stay somewhere else. The location is great. In the past I've stayed at this hotel before and it was much better. It has fallen a lot. The service is just sad. Though they did know how to register a foreigner and that part was easy.
