The location was not ideal for the purpose of my vacation. It was difficult to determine from the online information available, if there was a beach nearby. There wasn’t. It was also frustrating that the swimming pool was closed given that there was not swimming beach nearby. There is a supposed to be a spa in the hotel but it was no longer available. A fitness room still exists and looked well equipped. Aside from this, the staff were friendly and a couple of the staff spoke enough English to take care of my needs. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning my room. It was convenient to have laundry facilities in the room given that my stay was 14 days long. If you’re in Haikou for business, then I give this hotel high marks. I was on vacation so it wasn’t the ideal hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, most important the beds are good size and quite comfortable. There is a pool next door with hot tub (natural) which was nice and enjoyable. We had a three stay as we were visiting family in Haikou, I can recommend the hotel.

I arrived in Haikou around the 12pm, and waited for a 14 hour transfer flight to Sydney. So I booked this hotel. The hotel is close to terminal 1, I took the airport bus from terminal 2 to terminal 1, just across the road and went to the shopping centre, you can see the sign to go to the hotel and take the lift to level 1, the lobby is there. So easy going there. Also you can waiting for hotel shuttle bus.

Stayed here for a night. It was a pleasant stay. Hotel gave off a dated vibe which I enjoyed. Staff was courteous. Amenities were sufficient. There was also a small public hot spring facility just outside the hotel and a tub you can fill with hot spring water in hotel room. Different varieties of food served during breakfast. Location is convenient to go to qilou old street. We took a cab.

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

Really good - very solidly built, spacious, spotlessly clean rooms. Its a quiet area, but the food is really good in the hotel. Huge breakfast. A great stopover after a flight before travelling on to the rest of the island. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location with a very good surrounding environment, including Wanlv Park, Century Bridge, Yundong Library, etc. Free parking is also very convenient. The front desk lady is attentive and enthusiastic, and feels at home. We also upgraded the room for our old customers. Standing on the balcony, you can see the beautiful night view and the bay, which is very spectacular and beautiful. Convenient transportation. The Wanlvyuan bus stop is nearby. You can take the bus directly to Qilou Old Street and Bell Tower. You can also take bus G37 directly to Holiday Beach and Xixiu Beach. The facade and the hotel structure were less pleasing and I was worried when I arrived. There was no proper drop-off area. The moment you step in, you don't feel the typical hotel because it's a museum kind. The reception was at the back and the whole place looked put off. I entered the room and the aircon conditioning was very poor and the room was hot (I stayed from 29 Apr to 1 May and the outdoor weather was hot!). Honestly, I felt uncomfortable but after the initial impression set in, I began to feel the charm of the hotel. The hotel painstakingly put up ornaments and the history's of Nanyang. It wasn't like a typical commercial hotel. The room was spacious with no lack of amenities. Bed and pillows were good for sleep. They provided laundry detergent and free laundry and drying service. Breakfast was bad (please skip). The location was superb!!! In the heart of Qilou Old Street, walking distance to Clock Tower (less than 10 mins) and Century Bridge (45mins by walk and 10mins by car). Excellent foot massage (郑远元） within walking distance (less than 8mins).

The hotel is located at the west gate of Wanlvyuan, close to the sea. There is a swimming pool and hot spring pool on the first floor. The surrounding environment is very good and you can take a walk on the beach at any time. The reception is very enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are also new with smart systems, the bedding is comfortable, and the sleep in the room is very good. The hotel breakfast is Cantonese style. You can experience Hainan Laoba Tea, which tastes very good. Many locals drink morning tea in the restaurant. In short, it is great value for money and a very satisfying experience.

I booked three rooms and was satisfied with the hotel! The hotel is very close to Qilou Old Street, and the surrounding facilities are complete, including hospitals, restaurants and shopping. Although the hotel rooms are not big and the facilities are not new, the location is very good, parking is free, and there are staff to guide you every day. The hotel staff is also very good, polite, warm and thoughtful, and they will answer any questions. So I give it four stars overall, thumbs up!

I finally have time to comment. I found out that an old Chinese medicine doctor traveled to Haikou and came specifically to seek medical advice. My husband and children accompanied me there, thinking it was my first time in Haikou and I wanted to take the baby for a walk. My kid wanted to take a hot spring bath, so a local friend in Haikou recommended Mission Hills Resort. At first, I booked the Mission Hills Hotel for 998 with breakfast. When I opened ** and saw the live broadcast of the small garden enclosure, it showed that it was also in the Mission Hills Resort. I checked with the host and found out that it was next to the Mission Hills Hotel, in the same place. Home, shared breakfast and hot spring, 599 includes breakfast and hot spring. Since it was Christmas day, it showed that there was no room. I think it is very cost-effective, and we have never stayed in the enclosed house, so we booked it on Ctrip. It was 100 more expensive. 12 o'clock When we arrived at the hotel, the handsome man checked us in the day before yesterday. He specially arranged a room with a good location for us and led us to the room. He also introduced that this building was originally a spa place for Mission Hills guests and was later converted into guest rooms. The next day I wanted to take my kids out for some fun, but it was inconvenient to bring my luggage, so I asked the handsome guy at the front desk if I could delay check-out. The reply was that he could delay check-out until 2 p.m. It was already past 1 p.m. when we got back to the hotel, and we didn’t have enough time for a lunch break. Our flight was after 6pm, so I communicated with the beautiful woman at the front desk how much it would cost to delay the flight by 2 hours. After communicating with the manager, the beautiful woman replied that I could postpone our flight until 4pm for free, which was really heart-warming. The overall feeling of the hotel is very quiet, which I like very much. This trip to Haikou was very pleasant. It cured my dizziness problem that I had suffered for many years. The children also had a great time playing in the hotel.
