The King Studio room is very spacious and reasonably well laid out. Some of the environment and fittings are a bit worn and in need of refurbishment. The pool area isn't a particularly nice place to relax. The Spa on-site is ridiculously overpriced, easily 10 times the cost for the same treatment anywhere else. The hotel is a bit out of the way in terms of its location. Staff in the breakfast restaurant were too quick to put someone at your table if you get up to get more food. They seem to completely ignore the occupied sign on the table. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones that I have had in China.

Location:Extremely convenient with breathtaking views. Room: Upgraded to a seaview apartment suite. The shower drain in my previous room had a minor issue. Manager Grace Wang from the Front Office patiently and meticulously resolved it. She even added me on WeChat to follow up—truly professional. Thank you! Breakfast: On 33/F. Stunning view. Decent overall. Highly recommend the noodle station and waffles. Service: Far better than the unsmiling Sofitel next door. Staff were courteous, kind, and tactful across all departments, including the Chinese restaurant staff on 4/F. True Hospitality: - Grace sent a beautiful birthday fruit platter for my family member’s celebration. - Proactively followed up during our stay to ensure a flawless, pleasant experience. I stayed another three days after returning from Xinglong. Felt homey and cozy throughout. Overall, exceptional value, highly professional service. Absolutely worth returning.

The Hilton hotel is a very busy hotel, but they have relatively good service. Check in was efficient and I could go to my room even though I checked in before 1pm. So thank you for that, when I went to my room there was a bad sewer smell in the hall, but housekeeping got an air purifier installed in The hallway and that smell was gone for the rest of the stay. The room was clean, bed soft and view lovely. The hotel is a little off from the main attractions of Qilou old street/ century bridge but a short didi ride brought me to those locations in no time. Breakfast was delicious but had a small variety. The breakfast time is very busy make sure to check the little note at the front desk, I didn’t see it and went at the busiest time of breakfast rush. I had a nice stay here only thing to complain about is, the hand wash/ lotion is placed so far away from the sink, I had to squeeze myself between the tub to go and get some after a shower. Thanks for the good stay, happy new year 🐍

The checkout process was excessively protracted. The hotel had only one staff member at the front desk at 7:00 AM, which is unacceptable for such a large establishment. While the rest of the hotel was satisfactory, the inconvenience caused by the last day is evident. Our flight is scheduled for 10:00 AM, necessitating our departure from the hotel at 7:00 AM. Despite our request to have breakfast prepared the day prior, it was unfortunately forgotten. The other amenities were satisfactory, but the last day’s experience has tarnished the overall impression.

generally , overall is pretty alright . however maybe the hotel should check the sockets in the room because it seems faulty . aircon in hotel lobby and public is weak . considering the temperature in haikou is extremely hot .
