Very great place. The Korean gentleman was too good. Wooden cabin. Smelt like natural wood inside the room and had perfect amenities.

Third visit with family to this lovely lodge, comprises several lodge type self contained units of various sizes, we stayed in the Cottage. Each one is surrounded by matured gardens with out side furniture and BBQ’s, The lodges are fully equipped with everything that’s needed for self catering. Bed comfortable with plenty of towels and beach towels. Next door is a group of lovely shops and a microbrewery great pizzas. Short drive to Hot water beach, cathedral cove and Cooks beach. The beach is a short walk from the lodge. Great place to explore.

Cabin was spotless and nicely decorated. Well stocked kitchenette. Back slider opens to a beautiful little garden. Two minute walk to restaurant and a cafe, and close to Cathedral Cove Beach. Gentleman at front desk friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The advertisements were misleading to say the least, while I wouldn't stretch to say deceptive it was thoroughly disappointing upon arrival. to the extent that we did not stay there at all just booked a different place and left. there were no support or compensation offered by the host. Too bad was all we got.

We were a group of 3 people. Arrived late, but no problem as great directions at the door. One of our group was swimming in Hahei swim. Good practical place to stay for short term. Host is friendly. Beds comfortable although very thin walls so woken by early risers.

Faboulos place. We found it very relaxing, with all amenities, friendly staff and great location. All the shops and restaurants are nearby. The distance to beach is about 500 meters and Cathedral Cove is an hour distance for walking. It’s worth it.

Quick check-in, great room and shared facilities, quiet atmosphere, close to everything by car or walking. very clean. everything you need is at the site or around the corner. Take the Haihi boat trip to Cathedral Grove. make sure that if you go to Hot Water Beach that you take a shovel and go at the right time- check the tides.
