This is a wonderful hotel. It’s in a central location, the room we were in was perfect and the staff were helpful and friendly. The price was more than reasonable and the tram goes from across the street. Centraal Train Station is a short walk or you can get the tram. Very easy to get to and from Schipol Airport. The only negative was the street noise at night, but it was the weekend before Christmas and the World Cup Final weekend. Thankfully, we were so tired from our exploring that we slept regardless.

The restaurant is very well presented and looks fabulous. The food is pretty good too. Unfortunately, the staff made quite a few errors, although they were very apologetic. The thing I didn’t appreciate was the almost forceful way that a tip was demanded from us. That’s for me to decide, not for you to dictate.

We just called in to get out of the cold this afternoon and sat in a warm beautiful area near the bar and open fire. Perfect drinks and very attentive professional staff. Such a great warm place. Had a terrific sandwich and lots of great drinks 👍any Aussie would love this bar. Head bar tender during our time there was outstanding

This review is for the restaurant, we were passing by in a sunny, Tuesday afternoon and decided to stop for light lunch. My baked goat cheese salad was superb. We were seated at the terrace and could watch the world go by....it's on a pedestrianised square...Priceless! The interior decor was very swanky and modern. Great service- Micky was very attentive and informative. Hague was unplanned extension of our Amsterdam long weekend, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise !

What a great hotel in a very central place. We stayed in room "het toren" which was fully equipped. The hotel employee walked with us to the room when checking in to give an explanation on the spot. The next morning we were allowed to eat a super breakfast in the restaurant. Unfortunately no private parking facilities, there is a Q-park nearby.

Today we were accused of theft by an employee of this establishment! One of the employees thought she recognized my wife from not paying a bill 2 weeks ago. After carefully looking for a possible earlier visit, she said that she should have paid the unpaid bill herself. We certainly haven't been to TGH again after Corona.... Then she started making excuses with her colleagues and continued to insist that she recognized my wife when paying. My wife then addressed her personally again. She persisted: I recognize you. Unimaginable! We then spoke to management, this cannot be true, can it? I hope that the owner of this company kindly asks this girl to look for another job. What a scandalous display! The food was ok, but you can't possibly write a good review like that. Disgusting!

Wat hebben wij allemaal - en in het bijzonder de jarige 100-jarige - gisterenavond genoten van ons etentje in ‘t Goude Hooft. Een prachtig versierd restaurant, geweldige en behulpzame medewerkers, heerlijk eten en als klap op de vuurpijl live muziek. Ook heel fijn dat we 1 grote tafel hadden. Dank aan allen die hebben bijgedragen aan deze fantastische avond. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Op het terras gegeten. Breekbroodje vooraf was veel te kort verwarmd, alleen de rand was warm. Binnen droog en koud. De sushi was prima. Het kippetje was te zwart en vreselijk droog. De rösti als bijgerecht had niks met rösti te maken. Je merkt hier duidelijk dat het devies is: gas geven en zo snel mogelijk het tafeltje weer vrij hebben. De allure van binnenin het pand komt op het bord gewoon niet terug.

Het zag er zo romantisch uit, bijna alle tafeltjes bezet dus we dachten hier moeten we zijn. Maar de bediening was te druk, niet beleefd, te jachtig. Onze stress-kelner liet zich opeens niet meer zien. Ons aperitief kwam na 25 minuten nog niet in orde en ons hoofdgerecht werd bijna vroeger ingezet dan het aperitief. De ober hebben we met de borden terug naar de keuken gestuurd. Toen het aperitief dan nog op zich liet wachten hebben we aangekondigd dat we liever een beter adresje wilde opzoeken De kelner was niet verwonderd toen we opstapten. We hebben dus noch gedronken noch van iets geproefd.
