立地について、車で10分あれば萩の観光名所に行けて、宿に無料のレンタサイクルもあるのでとても便利。サービスについて、一般的な旅館のおもてなしをしていただき満足。乳児連れで行ったが、レストラン会場の床が畳だったので食事中畳に座らせられた。またミルク調乳用のお湯をお願いしたところ快く対応していただいた。夕食はとても量が多く、料理の質は大量調理の味だったがふぐ料理をたくさん堪能できた。特にフグ刺しが美味しかった。基本的には満足だがニ点問題点をあげるとすると、ドライヤーの威力がとても弱かったので髪の長い方は持参した方が良いかと。もう一点はレストラン会場に行く通路はバリアフリーではなく階段の昇り降りがある。

There is no Wi-Fi in the room even though the signal is bad. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. Do I have to go all the way to the lobby to use it? I bought a key holder at a souvenir shop at a ryokan, and the moment I tried to put it on, it broke, but they didn't even replace it. There is no meaning of key holder. They won't even give me a refund. Don't sell such useless things! The room smells like urine and the shower in the room is not very dirty and unusable. No matter how long the dryer is placed, it will not dry. This time it's a tour, so it can't be helped, but it's not recommended at all.

団体客が多かった時代からあるホテルのようで、広い温泉は気持ちが良いです。ロビーには人間国宝が作った萩焼や大砲などの美術品が展示されているけど、せっかくのお宝を多くの人に見てもらうための工夫が無くもったいないのは残念です。大広間ではなく個室での夕食は気兼ねなく良かったけど、ホテルのWiFiはロビー付近だけしか届かず部屋では断続してしまうため、ロビーでずっとスマホを使っている人がいました。ホテル全体に階段が多いのは昔の構造上仕方がないのでしょうけど、スタンダード和室のトイレはビジネスホテル級の狭さで、大浴場のシャンプーは泡立ちが悪いのもマイナスポイントです。
