The hotel was lovely, clean, spacious and had a great view from our ocean-facing room.
It was within walking distance of Hagi castle town so the location was great.
I didn't book a room with meals included in the evening so the front desk staff were very kind and introduced me to lots of delicious restaurants.
The bath was also spacious and clean.
I took a bath in the open-air bath early in the morning so it was a little cold, but
it felt really good.
I was surprised at how much breakfast there was, so I couldn't finish it.
It was delicious and I was very satisfied, and I'd like to visit this inn again.

ツインベッドと畳・オーシャンビュー半露天風呂・和洋室のお部屋と海側和室を利用しました。
和洋室のお部屋は新しく、2人では広すぎるほどのお部屋でゆっくりとくつろぐことができました。
お風呂は半露天なため冬でも寒くなくよかったです。
和室は寝るためだけに予約しましたが、畳の上に敷布団で寝るワクワク感があり楽しみながら過ごすことができました。お布団は夕食時に準備してくださいました。
温泉は二ヶ所あり、露天風呂、サウナが利用できました。
アメニティやドレッサーなど品揃えが充実していました。
お食事は朝も夕も食べきれないほどの料理が準備されており、お魚もお肉も美味しかったです。
スタッフの方が気にかけてくださり、とても充実した時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございます。

Two things are really excellent about the Resort Hotel Mihagi: the friendly, helpful staff, and the location. Unfortunately the property itself is very dated. The walk to my room from reception involved navigating what appeared to be makeshift ramps and down corridors with crooked window dressings. When I arrived in my room, there was hair on the floor in both the toilet and beside the bed. One of the roller blinds was jammed open, and needed someone to come and fix it. There was a fibre-board fixing screw sitting on the bathroom floor, and a very bizarre, unfinished tiny room between the toilet and the shower. My room was on the same floor as one of the restaurants, and the smell of the cooking pervaded the corridors, and at times the room.

There is a great view of the sea from the onsen on the second floor. In June there were only a few people walking on the beach. At dusk since there was no one around I went skinny dipping. Later I went again for a moonlight swim. The water in the sea is tepid. Fantastic

The ocean-facing rooms are spacious and offer a view of the ocean. They are double-glazed so that you can't hear the sound of the waves. The large hot spring bath is spacious and the food is well thought out, with each room being able to choose the approximate time for dinner and breakfast so that hot food can be served. Another nice touch is the free barley tea and coffee dispensers in the lobby and on each floor. Although the hotel is a little on the expensive side and there aren't many parking spaces for its size, the satisfaction level is high.
