Good hotel with great food. Easy parking, plenty of space. However the down side is that the facility is really a bit dated and run down…

The room is large, the staff is very welcoming, and the breakfast and dinner are rich. I originally booked a day, and the first day was good, so I stayed another day. The temperature of the hot spring water is just right. I like the outdoor pool. You can watch the hot spring while soaking in it. snowflakes falling

I stayed here when I came to Hachimantai to see the autumn leaves. It is a large hotel. When I arrived, the lobby had a slight sulfurous smell from the hot spring. There is a welcome drink bar in the lobby lounge. The room was a beautiful 8 tatami Japanese-style room. The shoji screens were gorgeous, the first time I'd seen them (pink, white, and purple with autumn leaf patterns). There were two room keys, which was helpful. The bath is a day-use bath. It was very crowded, probably because it was Sunday and autumn leaf season. The hot spring is clear (a little whitish with a little water) and has a sulfurous smell. From the open-air bath, Mt. Iwate was said to be watching, as the clouds were hanging over it. The open-air bath is lukewarm. The large bath was hot. It is a day-use bath, but amenities such as lotion are available. There are only three hair dryers, so they were hard to use, and I had given up on using them, but I finally got one to use. There was a water cooler, but the trash can for the water cooler cups was full, so there were many cups outside the trash can. They were piled up and falling onto the floor. The next morning, the bath was only for guests staying at the hotel, so I was able to take a leisurely bath. Since the bath was alternated between men and women, I was able to use the other bath as well. We had dinner in a beautiful venue with a chandelier that is also used for weddings. There were a variety of appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, and the sashimi was a unique salad of surf clams and tuna. Although I don't like surf clams, it had no odor and was delicious. The seafood soy milk hot pot had a gentle taste, and the Hachimantai bok shabu-shabu and cheesecake dessert were also delicious. The local sake from Hachimantai City was dry and delicious, and it was reasonably priced at 800 yen for 300cc, so we ordered several bottles. The man in charge of food was very kind and the service was full of hospitality, and my wife seemed happy. Breakfast was a buffet in a restaurant with a view of the garden. The pizza toast that you can make by cutting the bread to your desired thickness and topping it with various things seems to be popular. The not-too-salty hokke was delicious, and they also had Koiwai milk and local yogurt. After the meal, we had coffee in the restaurant and in the lobby lounge. It was a very convenient hotel for sightseeing in Hachimantai, and also had a good hot spring.

We stayed here after walking around the Hachimantai summit promenade. All the employees were able to spend brightly and comfortably. I felt that the room was old, but I thought that it was a hotel that was considerate, such as having a hand towel in the washroom and a cold water pot. For dinner, I chose a course with a small amount, but it was delicious with a moderate amount of Tochu tea pork shabu-shabu and soy milk pot. The open-air bath in the morning was a little cold, but it felt good. There is an all day drink bar in the lobby and I ended up having a few cups of coffee.
