Firstly, Kayoko-San is an amazing host who went out of her way to make sure we had a great holiday. She picked us up from the train station, transported us to and from the resort each day and even drove us to Hatchimanti when we reluctantly left. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was absolutely incredible. We were treated to traditional Japanese meals that were both delicious and beautifully presented, proudly made with local Iwate produce. The portions are huge! I'd return for the food alone. Our room was massive and the onsen perfect after riding all day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Pension Mutti. The service was unbelievable, the food was amazing, and the value for money was excellent. Already booked for next year!
