On the website, the photo of the bath is indeed marked as the women's bath, but there is not a single photo of the men's bath. Originally, it was a rotation system, but after receiving many complaints, the hotel unilaterally stopped the rotation for its own convenience. So it seems that men were forced into the small bath. Only on the website, other sites only have photos of the large bath, and photos of the baths with good views without specifying which bath they are. I stayed at the hotel thinking I would be able to use the bath with a view, but I was locked in the bath and returned home disappointed.

I stayed here for two nights on a tour. When I first arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to see that the building was quite worn out, but I was relieved to see that the hotel was actually the newly renovated building next door. I had heard that it was old, but the inside was new and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was not that big and there were not many wash areas, but when I went in there were not many customers so it didn't bother me. I went to the open-air bath at night, so I couldn't see the view very well, but the bath itself was nice. Dinner was a multi-course meal at this time of year, which was quite delicious, but since the tour group all started eating at the same time, it seemed like they couldn't keep up with serving drinks. However, they did serve rare local sake. The breakfast was enjoyable, with a variety of local dishes prepared. The hotel staff's service was moderate, and it was a hotel where you could stay in a relaxed atmosphere.

The room was spacious and the bed was big so my husband and I could sleep comfortably. We had a comfortable time in the room. The bath was very spacious and the open-air bath was also nice.

It was delicious and did not disappoint. The pudding and yogurt were both delicious. The stars in the night sky were beautiful. The walls in the room were thin, so sound leaked out. The sound of the air conditioner was bothersome.

Due to the location, there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so you have to get your groceries when you go out into town. Public transportation is inconvenient, so renting a car is an efficient way to tour.

I was here for 3 days in November 2022 and enjoyed my stay. The reception staff were very friendly, the room with a view of the Pacific was quite large and equipped with everything, including a yukata (hotel kimono) with which you could go to the hotel spa (separate bathroom). A rich breakfast, a vending machine for drinks at reasonable prices, a shuttle to the town of Hachijo (you can say where you want to go) and back. And a roof terrace for stargazing. The only downside is that you have to book dinner 3 days in advance. There is no alternative to eating something. I knew that and got a few little things from the supermarket on the way back. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to the island
