シーピロス、リードアズーロ、そしてココと一応八丈島の三大リゾートホテルは全部滞在しましたが、個人的にはビューホテルが一番のお気に入りです。 シーピロスは底土へのアクセスが抜群。徒歩1分なので海水浴やシュノーケルには超便利。海水浴場のシャワーを使わなくてもいいし。デメリットは大賀郷へ遠く、メジャーな居酒屋やスーパーにタクシー利用でもやや不便。部屋もバリ感はあるものの狭い。 リードアズーロは何処への交通の便が悪く（底土への送迎はあり）、プール周りの施設に場末感がありリゾート感が高まらない。屋上の星見は良し。 そしてここビューホテルは、フロント周り、プール周辺の雰囲気にリゾート感があり南国に遊びに行った気分が高まる。大賀郷へ（さすがに歩くはちょっとキツいが）タクシーですぐ。日中ならバスでもアクセス良し。底土への送迎は夏季はあり。 今回は東京割を利用しましたが、八丈島の3つのリゾートホテルは沖縄の高級リゾートホテル並に価格は高く、それに比べると（あくまで高級リゾートと比べるとですが）リゾートホテルとしてのレベルは落ちるので割高には感じられます。
