Staffs are polite and welcoming. Garden villa room is spacious for a family of 4. There is 1 big bed (king size?) that can fit 3 adults and 1 sofa that can fit 1 child. But as per hotel’s policy, we needed to add an extra bed. A loft in front of the room was nice to have and relax. Only problem is that there are mosquitoes around and you cannot leave the door open. Staying at the loft is ok during late morning till after lunch is ok. But as time goes towards 3pm onwards mosquitoes are becoming many. Resort could provide insect or mosquitoes trap. The hut nearby the pool was awesome to stay during noontime. We had dinner in the restaurant and food were delicious. We ordered carbonara pasta and thai dishes. Breakfast options can be made more other than varying the way of cooking egg. Kids breakfast is not included in bookings and will be charged thb 250 should you choose to make your kids eat there. Not really worth paying as kids eat less and again the breakfast options are typically for adult guests.

The bedroom was clean, the bathroom was clean. The hotel is on the main road, the parking in front of the hotel is bright and safe. If the front is full There is an additional back-side parking. Tara Mantra, a hotel dedicated to the decline and wants to be well presented. The difficult times of Corona are unquestionable,but then you should be happy about every solving customer and roll the red tape symbolically.But not in this hotel.You have as a non-Thai speaking guest on the whole line Lost,it always gets the feeling of being disgusting and questions cannot be answered because of language barriers.As we have been guests again and again in Tara Mantra for years,I could experience the breakdown of this hotel even closer. The rooms are smooth,not really maintained,the bathroom I don't want to describe it more. The breakfast was slightly more slightly from year to year until it became a disaster today.The breakfast room has now closed for a few days since only 3Zimmer is located in this hotel.Therefore we were instructed to take the next few days of breakfast on to order the room.Isn't it a problem in principle if I have the opportunity to breakfast comfortable in this room,and not like a monkey on the couch must take my breakfast to me.Maybe that I overtake in the sense, But that's not worth 4 stars. Damn,but this hotel has lost 2Stammgcast,but I don't think the staff will not realize that.

The Chinese Restaurant Fu Lue Woman Manager- Som for no apparent reason has been very unprofessionally rude, repugnant and impertinent to me! Not once but every visit of mine is met with such obnoxious attitude. She would tell me that they are very busy and the food would take more than an hour and a half to serve even though the restaurant is not even half full! Whatever I order from the menu she would tell me it’s finished including desserts but then I see others ordering it and it’s being served to them. Also, I have not finished my order she would pretend to assume I have finished ordering and walked away! She would pursed her lips, give me a contemptuous glare and make a “tsk” sound with her tongue when I continued ordering! No one can fathom what kind of service staff would be so vicious and vile in service like Som! She’s a total disgrace to both the hospitality and service industry! Definitely NOT an asset but a TOTAL LIABILITY to the organisation that chose to hire her. One rotten egg spoils the entire basket! I don’t recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked this place. The bungalows are simple but well decorated and there is everything you need including a comfortable bed and a nice sitting area outside where you can relax with the view of the ocean and enjoy breakfast or snack in the afternoon. A big plus of this place is the service. From the security, to the service staff and the owner herself they are really caring of making customer's stay as much enjoyable as possible. Will surely go back if we have chance!

Stayed here many times. This time a little disappointed, as shower was cold water only. But over all happy with this family Hotel. Ideal for many visitors, families may want to book a rear room, as may be a bit loud at night in front rooms. I will return.

Very good, worth experiencing

The hotel is noticeably well managed, all processes are streamlined, check-in for large groups is quick. At breakfast, everything that is offered is sufficient and does not run out, even when the restaurant is very full. A significant drawback in the room is the lack of free sockets next to the bed and the table; if you need to use a laptop, it is relatively convenient to only use the TV socket if you turn it off.
