Island Guesthouse

We were very very disappointed with this guesthouse, not at all the description of the hotel, nothing to cook either, we must have had the most crappy room of all!!! The only one on the ground floor, 2 m from the front door of the hotel!!! A room that has no place at all.....With all the noise that goes with it......guests who talk really loudly when they come in at night when we're already asleep.. ...But above all the room does not at all reflect the photos we see.... Just a very small window next to the bed which overlooks the street! A filthy plastic shower curtain, walls full of mold (but apparently it's all the time in Malta), and above all no comfort on the mattress, so the fitted sheet is placed squarely on the mattress which is not clean it either ! And to top it all off, a TV that doesn't work.,.... But that doesn't matter. We will never go back there again.

abbiamo avuto problemi con il bagno, quando si apriva l’acqua del lavandino questa riusciva da bocchettone e il bagno si allagava… nessuno ci è venuto incontro, non ci hanno chiesto di cambiare stanza ma anzi come soluzione ci hanno detto “non aprite il lavandino”… una follia. il bagno è stato riparato il giorno in cui siamo andati via, dopo ripetute lamentele, sono anche in grado di giustificarsi dicendo che loro il bagno lo hanno sistemato. inoltre state molto attenti a quello che dite e salvatevi eventuali chat perché usano tutto contro di voi, nel nostro caso avevamo la vista mare quindi abbiamo detto che se ci avessero spostato di stanza avrebbero dovuto darci un rimborso in quanto le altre stanze costano di meno, la loro interpretazione? “avete rifiutato il cambio stanza non è colpa nostra”. abbiamo dormito due notti con il bagno allagato e non abbiamo ricevuto nemmeno delle scuse, anzi al momento del checkout non so con quale faccia tosta, ci hanno chiesto anche 3€ di tassa di soggiorno. Non sono qui a lamentarmi dei soldi o a non voler pagare, ma se pago pretendo ciò per cui ho pagato e un bagno funzionate mi sembra il minimo. inoltre ci siamo sentiti fortemente presi in giro dall’host che leggeva ed ignorava i nostri messaggi.
