I came to Gwangju to watch baseball and had a great stay. It was convenient because it was about a 15-20 minute walk from Champil. It was good value for money. It was nice to have a washer and dryer underneath.

일하시는 분들은 너무나 친절하십니다. 그러나! 완전 싸구려 모텔 수준입니다. 일단 침대/베개 다 돌덩이 같고 플라스틱 커버 가 되어있어 뻑뻑하고 부석거리고. 그리고 온수가 안나와요 ㅎㅎㅎ 이런 경험 처음입니다. 근처 출장때문에 갔는데 잠도 잘 못자고. 비추입니다. 잠이라도 편하게 자려고 vip룸 했는데 ㅜㅜ

The hotel and room itself was pretty good tbh. Everything was very clean and the room pretty spacious with a big bathroom. There is a convenience store downstairs which can be handy if you need anything. There's also a microwave, toaster and coffee/tea supply downstairs plus a small lounge area. Absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. For us the location just didn't work very well. Yes it's on a street with a lot of different restaurants and bars but maybe due to time of year or something a lot of them seemed closed. To get anywhere else in the city bus stops we were directed to every time were about 10 min walk away. The only sightseeing that is relatively close is the Gwangju National Museum, Biennale and Museum of Art, the rest is pretty far away.
