This guesthouse was cheap, and the room was decently sized. It is a bit far from the Cafe Street and even further from the 5.18 Memorial Park, but it is a good place to stay for going to Mudeungsan. Overall, the distance isn't too bad, but you do have to travel a little while. As for cleanliness, it was clean, but there were still some hair in the rug in the room. The bed was firm, but I had no issues sleeping. I would consider staying here again if I returned to Gwangju.

Thank you so much for my wonderful stay! I would recommend staying here to any solo travellers, the lovely couple who run this hotel made me feel so welcome and safe! It’s in a great area close to many bus stops, restaurants and cafes. It’s easy to find and very clean. It’s quite at night time too. Thank you!!!!

Located near Chonnam University. There's an ensuite bathroom, a working TV and even a heated blanket, so it was a comfortable stay during winter. The bathroom is small so everything will get wet when you take a shower, but it wasn't an issue for me.
Very helpful host, they even gave me a SIM card with data and Korean number after knowing I was staying in Korea for a month.
Overall a pleasant stay in Gwangju. I personally feel location is also good with CU right outside and easy connection with buses around.

Stayed for 4 nights in private room. Small but compact room with drawers and shelves for storage. Good hot working shower. Comfortable beds and efficient air con and fan. Plenty of food options and shops around as close to the university and good transport links to major attractions. Shared kitchen, small but everything you need. Due to this being shared, it was not always the cleanest as not everyone takes responsibility to clean after themselves. Hosts were LOVELY. Really friendly and always around for a chat. We sat with them for dinner one evening and we're given local fruits to try. Cheap and convenient.

The nicest people I've ever met. I came too early but was still able to check in. The owners talked a lot with me and we even drank a coffee together. They also helped me with my SIM card. The room was more than enough and the location was good woth a lot of stores around, while still being in a quiet environment. Definitely recommend going here and would love to come back when I'm back in south korea.

這次在光州的住宿體驗不是太理想😣
首先衛生狀況真的不太行❌ 床鋪上明顯有毛髮和頭髮，牆壁上甚至可以看到黑色的手掌印……冰箱裡也有不少污漬，看得出來前一位客人使用後並沒有好好清潔，整體感覺非常不乾淨。
房間內原本沒有提供空調遙控器，是我自己打電話聯繫房東後才拿到的。廁所裡沒有提供衛生紙，房間也沒有垃圾桶，用過的紙巾不知道該往哪裡扔，非常不方便。
唯一比較可取的是女房東本人——來自菲律賓，人真的很熱情親切。但可惜住宿環境真的讓人住得很不安心。
這間民宿不太會想回訪，希望房東之後能改善衛生與設備問題。

這家在光州北區（離市中心有一定距離）、靠近全南大學，應該算民宿，周邊也有很多其他民宿，感覺那一帶是個民宿區。但單人房性價比住下來還可以，周圍衣食行都挺方便。就是入住的時候要用手機撥打房東的電話號碼，儘量還是準備個本地電話卡比較好，不然就變打國際長途了。
