Closed window is perfect. The bed is very low and the mattress is not very comfortable. The shower is excellent even if it is placed a little too close to the toilet. I remain doubtful about the local products which seem to come more from the local supermarket (not very good, just like the scrambled eggs and industrial fruit juices) Despite the nearby lake, it is to Contance that you will go, to take there have a drink and eat there, the hotel environment has nothing charming to offer. We booked the hotel with a joke of Swiss vouchers because we wanted to explore the ground lake with the bike. The price was higher than the voucher indicated, but we knew it before. A very unique hotel in Arbon. The room was spotlessly clean and of a good size. Bed was comfortable but the duvets were very heavy for summer. No air conditioning in bedrooms so was warm. A fan was provided but it was noisy and had a bright blue light when in use which I found disruptive to sleep. On arrival there were no staff to greet you which was strange and you only spoke to someone through an intercom to gain access. It felt odd! We met the owners at breakfast for the first time in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
