Utsavam Hotel Apartments

I booked for a studio apartment. But they provided 1 very tiny bedroom with bath attached of a 2 bhk apartment. No kitchenete, no table, no chair, no phone even to call the reception. We have to use our mobile all the time. No wifi, no iron box with ironing board as they advertised. Bath amenities are limited to 1 bath soap and a towel only. No shampoo, no dental kit. The TV they provided in the room has no channels. It's just ornamental. They have offered complimentary breakfast, which they provide at the room from 8 am onwards as per their advertisement. But in reality they keep us waiting indefinitely till 9 or 10am to deliver the breakfast packet... and that too after multiple calls to the reception, delaying our other programs & plans. The funny part is they serve breakfast packets in aluminum covers wirh no plates and there's no plate available in the room for keeping the breakfast and eat. You have to sit in the bed, balance yourself with the breakfast packet and eat it straight from the packet as there is no table to keep the food packet. You may use the almirah provided to keep the food from falling off. And the breakfast is below average, we cannot choose the food, instead just eat whatever they choose to serve. A non- veg restuarant functions on the entry way to utsavam apartment. No other restuarants are available nearby, incase you prefer veg food. The place is also a bit away & isolated from Guruvayur temple. If you don't have your own conveyance, hiring auto or taxi is not easy. There is no uber or ola at Guruvayur. I am a very frequent visitor to Guruvayur temple and there are plenty of hotels available at walkable distance from the temple available for even lesser cost with many more room amenities and better service. Skip booking this apartment, if you have other alternatives available. I regret wasting my money booking at this apartment.

Located in a calm and quiet area not far from guruvayoor temple, this place offers excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommended for families
