Beautiful building that used to be a monastery, still has the spiritual atmosphere. The church attached to the complex rich in decoration. Very calm , great breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable beds and spacious room. Very helpful staff at the reception.

My experience at the Ayurveda retreat hosted at JUFA Hotel in Carinthia, Austria, was nothing short of exceptional. Abin, Prerana, and the entire staff provided an incredible level of hospitality, from the reception to the waiters, chefs, and housekeeping team. Their dedication truly enhanced the overall experience. The hotel's location within an old monastery building added a unique charm and contributed to a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Abin and Prerana's Ayurvedic treatments were beyond amazing, and their empathic approach made each session a deeply rejuvenating experience. I appreciated the Ayurvedic cuisine with a Carinthian touch, masterfully prepared by the talented chefs. The combination of local flavors and Ayurvedic principles resulted in a culinary experience that was both nourishing and delightful. To sum it up, JUFA Hotel's Ayurveda retreat, guided by Abin and Prerana, provides an ideal haven for unwinding and rejuvenating. The attentive and caring staff, coupled with the historical setting and exquisite cuisine, create a truly unforgettable stay. We recently stayed at the JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk as part of our adventure to see the F1 Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring Spielberg. Closer hotels were sold out so we settled in at the Hotel Stift Gurk. The hotel is located in the sleepy town of Gurk. An old church complex that found a second calling. As part of the complex one will find the beautiful Dom of Gurk, which still welcomes its parishioners. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast service was authentic Austrian, which we found charming and filling. The room was spacious for the four of us and clean. Renovations maintained the charm of an old monastery while upgrading the rooms to modern times. In the back of the hotel is a large garden and play ground for kids to climb and zip line around. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. A lovely place for those who seek peace and relaxation and who love to hike, bike and explore. While we did not eat much in the area due to our focus on the F1 Grand Prix about 45 miles away, we found the local Wirtshaeuser authentic and delicicious. Wir haben eine Ayurveda Kur im Jufa Hotel Gurk genossen, welches sich direkt im Stift und neben dem Dom befindet. Ein richtiger Energieort. Es gibt aus frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten gekochte ayurevedische Vollpension (der freundliche Koch erklärt gerne die Zutaten und Zubereitung) und stets frisch gebrühten Gewürztee. Morgens wird Yoga angeboten, wo auch Hintergrundwissen zu Atmung, Meditation, richtiger Haltung usw. erklärt wird. Es gibt viele Behandlungen zur Auswahl, wir haben die sensationelle Ölmassage genossen, sowie Sauna und Dampfbad.

Hotel a dir poco favoloso per la magica atmosfera che rimanda. La nostra camera era enorme, con una doccia comodissima, molto pulita e con una vista del giardino molto piacevole. Il monastero è l'abbazia con Cripta anessa, pura magia. Colazione e cena ricche e molto buone.

Ich war leider nur 3 Nächte hier, bin aber total begeistert. Das Ambiente ist unglaublich stilvoll und gemütlich. Das ganze Haus ist angenehm still und ladet zum Seele baumeln ein. Zarte indische Dufte ziehen durch die Räumlichkeiten und man fühlt sich als wäre man tatsächlich in Indien. Das therapeutische Personal ist sehr kompetent, hilfsbereit, engagiert und freundlich. Die Behandlungen empfand ich als sehr angenehm und wohltuend. Auch das Hotelpersonal gibt einem das Gefühl irgendwie dazuzugehören. Alle sehr bemüht vom Küchenchef, über Karin von der Rezeption und die jungen Leute im Service. Das Essen einfach ein Traum und auch Sonderwünsche werden gerne erledigt. Schade dass es nur 5 Sterne gibt, sie hätten 10 verdient. Ich komme sicher bald wieder. Uschi
