Hotel Buchenland

The restaurant staff was extremely rude and arrogant. Any request was met with the standard response: “This is the hotel’s policy.” The breakfast offered included set options that couldn’t be combined, rather than a buffet-style meal. For example, if I chose an omelet, I wasn’t allowed to add cold cuts, cheese, or even a simple cucumber. I was told that this was what the 35 lei breakfast included. However, I had booked a room with breakfast included, not a 35 lei breakfast. So, at this hotel, an omelet, a juice, and a coffee cost 35 lei—which would be fine if it weren’t for the sheer lack of flexibility and customer service. Additionally, the hotel’s restaurant does not allow tipping via card, despite this being legally required for a long time, again citing “hotel policy.” On a positive note, the room was clean, and the bed was large and well-presented. However, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, significantly affecting sleep quality. In conclusion, this was a disappointing experience that ruined our stay, and I will certainly avoid this location in the future.

The hotel looks nice on the inside but it's placed in a very crowded area. The food was ok in the restaurant. Rooms are confy but mine had a stuffy smell. Also in the bathroom there was an unpleasant smell of food with a hint of mold.. The parkinglot is a bit small. Ok for one night, but not longer..

A very good option in an unremarkable town. You'd only want to stay in GH as a tourist if you're visiting the painted monasteries and this is an ideal base. Clean, modern, comfortable with good air conditioning. Loved our balcony for late night drinks and a lunchtime picnic. Great breakfast. We had three nights and ate in each night at the terrace restaurant tables (schnitzels, salads, pasta, hearty local specialities) and outdoor bar. Lots of variety on menu for our group, and well cooked food. Friendly and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommended and a *very* good value stay by GBP standards.

Buchenland בGura Hurmorului Suceava We arrived at the Buchenland Hotel in Gura Hurmorului in the Suceava district, nowhere is it written that the hotel is not accessible without an elevator. The hotel took our money 2 weeks before we arrived We arrived with a disabled person without the possibility of cancellation or finding a solution for him. It is appropriate for the hotel to report that it is not accessible and suitable for disabled people. A 4-star hotel without an elevator?? The air conditioner in the room is very old and is in front of one of the people in the room. When we entered the room there was no toilet paper! The clerk didn't believe us and came to see with her own eyes she just didn't believe it! shame!! Don't come close!!

The staff at check in was really helpful and pleasant. In the dining room it was a bit difficult due to the language barrier. The rooms were nice sized and the bed very comfy. The room had ample plugs and convenient free parking. Breakfast was good and the room was quiet. If your in Gura Humorului to visit the painted monasteries you couldn't ask for a more convenient location.

After three stays here I can affirm that this is a really good value hotel. It is pretty new, it has big and clean rooms, with some of them having a balcony. Inside the court there is a private parking. They have a pub in the basement and an awesome restaurant with great food on the ground floor. The staff is helpful and attentive. I totally recommend it.
