Lovely room. Nice and quiet. Very courteous staff especially when I left an item behind. Would recommend this Motel to anyone. A very enjoyable stay in a comfortable bed. A bit disappointing that there is no breakfast but that seems to be the norm these days.

Going to Canberra, but I don't like driving anymore, stop here when I pass by! But I want to say that it is full of gains. I found this place by accident. The owner of the room I booked told me that it was not available because it was the weekend, but I did not expect to adjust it to a better one, which can live in a family of four to five people. , The bath water is great, the kitchen utensils are all available, and there is a big supermarket 500 meters next to it, which is convenient for shopping! Recommended! This is also an RV camp!

The Tuckerbox Motor Inn was exactly as described on the listing. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay to break up the Sydney-Melbourne drive, this is a great stopover. Located right next to the Hume Motorway.. there is a Petrol Station and Hungry Jacks right next door for refuelling. The staff were really helpful, text instructions on how to access our room after 8pm as we arrived late.. and even text us to wish us a safe onward drive. Would definitely stay again. No photos to share as arrive after 10pm and left 5am.. keen to sleep after a long drive.

Old, rundown, tiny two bedroom ”family room” greeted us after check-in. Long torn bedroom curtain at least afforded a better view of Gundagai - windows were filthy and almost impossible to open. Website fallaciously announced queen-size bed - at best a double. Tiny bathroom hosting impossible to use body wash and shampoo dispensers. 7 day breakfast in house was a no show yet mine-host mentioned nothing at check-in and yet the site still advertises it - I only received my room key upon prompting him for it and room access directions, gees mate, you only have one job to do! Garden & surrounds are deplorable, unkept and **** infested - yep its autumn, has been for a while but the slip hazards from fallen leaves are everywhere and haven't been cleaned up in 2021. Stay away, Leo the Manager doesn't care and he is a world away from his vocational calling which is ,.......... - stay here and you can fill in the dots yourself.
