I was staying in room 109 next to the pool. i was a bit worried about what I was letting my in for after the reviews I've read on here and in other places. When I entered the room, there was no fridge, so I went to reception and asked about it they said they should be one in the room, but I had to wait for the following morning to get one. The guys on the bar were friendly and helpful they gave me a bag of ice for overnight to keep my drinks i purchased from the migros supermarket across the road cool. There was a lady on reception during the day who was very friendly and always chatted and remembered. My name, unfortunately, I can't remember hers. The room was cleaned daily. That's where the positives end The negatives The food offering was rubbish. I was b&b but did look at the evening meals, and they were not much better. I'm glad I didn't pay for the half board upgrade fee of 15 euro a day I had plenty of tasty meals in the surrounding bar/restaurants and the local authority run gumbet cafe just a 5 minute walk along the beach path. The hotel is located next too the 3/4 large night clubs the where the music goes on until 4am so if you want a goodnight sleep this isn't the place for you. In summary you get what you pay for and not much else

The hotel is was an unpleasant experience the rooms are a bit dirty. The cleaners hardly come in, you have to ask for towels or new bedding others it will be left. The beach is filthy compared to others. The food options aren’t the best there is repeatedly nearly the same foods and only like 3 options to choose from. Two of those likely to be some sort of pastry and the other always being egg.

Just had a medical massage from a lady who I have to say was amazing, can't fault her work. Would highly recommend a visit. Made to feel relaxed, private room with respect and dignity. Came for a Hanam yesterday was absolutely lovely again made to feel relaxed, and respected throughout.

Really can’t understand all the negative reviews. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is basic but plentiful. The beach is kept well and is 2 minutes away. The aircon and fridge in the room both work and the room itself appears recently decorated with a walk in shower with plenty of pressure. Bearing in mind this is pretty much a budget hotel I was really happy with my stay.

This hotel is so specific in its "3 stars" that I don't know even where to start. It's like playing a "lotto game". Once you get there you pray that the balls rotate in a right way so you can get a normal room. I wasn't so lucky, maybe because I asked at the very beginning for the nice room, and it turned out to be the opposite. Actually, I spent a week in a completely awkward quest for a normal room, and ironically, I gave some extra money to get one. Nothing happened for seven days and my whole sojourn was ten days. I finally got a "normal" room for the last three days. The whole system of working is more like a family hotel than a serious structure within a hospitality industry, and the "so called" manager like a family member of the owner, rather than a serious professional. The room I got was in the old part and could be used for horror movies. I will attach some pics to prove it. Obviously, with the "cheap" attitude, there are some calculations that attract incoming guests, and make the host "resistant" to all complains (you could see that they don't answer below any review). The thing is, this hotel has a great location. The beach and the sea are nice. If you're lucky enough to have a decent room, you will not complain for the money you give. Food is average. It's like, "let's make it look rich in all the restrictions". You could see that all the staff in the restaurant is trying hard, but visibly, they have very limited resources. Every day is a new journey. Once, it's the lack of spoons, the other day, no soup bowls, the third day, something else is missing. I wonder do they have a dishwasher, because the cleanliness of the cutlery was awful. Spots, greasiness and the leftovers from previous food. If you count on a peaceful sleep, forget it! You will hear the loud music from all sides, supported with the constant drumbeat, coming from a loud sound system. It's more like "We're here, come and see what is going on", than "It's a crazy party over there with a lot of people. I assume, they were trying to attract some guests with this noisy attitude. Whatever it is, it doesn't stop until six o'clock in the morning. And finally, even when I got "the better room", the fridge was not working, and it was the same in the previous room. You have to beg literally for everything. After some time, you get tired and you leave the things as they are. The good thing is a market, opposite of the hotel, so you can provide yourself with what you need. I could recommend this hotel to adventurers with the low budget and people who are not sensitive to cleanliness.

Been coming to gùmbet for many yrs, staying at the baba a fair few times over them years every time it's a less pleasant experience, very poor attention to many minor things could bring this hotel back to the great hotel it once was. BREAKFAST is poor: it would be a game changer to have an egg station like most hotels do, someone stood cooking on request; omelette, fried, scrambled, simple but affective. Cheese, ham, salad, hot dogs, boiled egg, cereal is not catering for all. STAFF well don't think I see one member of staff smile, they certainly didn't great me or approach me with a smile or even a good morning in my 9 day stay! I'd get a grunt when I'd say good morning. 1 reception staff member who clearly hates his job and has no customer service skills, everytime I approached him to question repairs in my room, he was rude, and kept his head in his phone the whole time. Uniform not worn by staff, so didn't always know who was staff!?!? A small thing but so affective again, presentation!!! ROOM 204, usual double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside units and vanity table, all great, shower however clearly had problems with the door so they've just taken it off so every time I showered floor floods so then I'm cautiously walking around bare foot with tile floors puddled, slip hazard!! Top light not working in bathroom so have to use the mirror light. Fridge not in the wardrobe as usual (iv stayed many times here so know there is usually a shower door and fridge) AIR CON great that its included in the price, however not great to wake up in morning to nearly slip and break ur neck as the unit has leaked all night ànd formed a puddle from one end of room to the front door, this got fixed once I reported it, TWICE HOUSEKEEPING clean towels 7 out of 9 days, bed made, floor swept, toilet roll refill, but they dnt clean the bathroom as my shower base had sand still from previous days, and sink was always dirty clear to see hasn't been cleaned. No towels left in room one day so asked Mr rude reception guy and took him 30mins to get someone else to get them, too late by then I'd just got back from beach needed to shower so tried a door in hall way which happened to be cleaners cupboard where towels were stored. BEACH area for baba looks so dirty, littered, run down, and scruffy....beds looked like we're falling apart, didn't use as it wasn't appealing. Next door nagi beach was great to use every day WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Review being left for them too if u wish to view it! POOL Didn't use the pool area as I know from previous visits it doesn't get the sun all day so no good to me as a sun worshipper, so can't comment on this. NIGHT STAFF baba is next door to night clubs and bars so music can be heard until 4am however I'm not a heavy sleeper and only 2 nights was it music that woke me, the people returning to the hotel however, loud, banging, screaming, shouting, running up and down halls at all hours of the night, Where's the staff to tell them to
