Best Hotels in Gulpen, Netherlands

We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there. Nice new hotel. Unfortunately no welcome drinks, which is normal. nice room. No possibility to impose the bags anywhere but on the ground. We are not so old, but still a little limited. So put the chair on the desk with extra support, enough space for a baggage bag or something like that, and now we arrived late in the rain. Had not even been watching, because there were some cars that we should not have left the car standing before the door. Not asked. In the meantime, 10 days further and no points received. This is not what I'm used to Acor and has come there for many years as silver or gold member, so you know what I'm talking about.

Easy hotel is what it claims to be. Functional and cheap. Some reviewers comment on the small rooms, but that's clear on the website of the hotel. The reception is manned 24/7. There is a vending machine and coffee station at the reception. After check out one can use the large lockers for €3 to store any bags. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The rooms have nice showers and the temperature can be regulated too. For the price, the hotel is a good deal. Many rooms have wonderful views of the waterfront. An ideal base for a short trip to the city. Perfect for a single person or 2 people sharing the room.

Standard old Dutch top floor duplex apartment, it is good for a family to live together. Luggage to be carried, there is no elevator, of course there is no elevator. At present, Europe is in short supply, and there is an advertisement for a recruitment waiter at the door, and the only waiter is also good. It's fun to see people in Maastricht Old Square

Service was good. Rooms complete. Breakfast was well cared and wide choice. Unfortunately we had the room above the Irish Pub. That's nicely useless. Until 4.00 hours no eye closed. Despite windows close to ventilator, no airco, and was very warm ....These rooms above the pub should actually be used nudity ......

I stayed here for four days for a business trip. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions about dining, parking and other services of the hotel. There are two parking garages that the hotel uses, one that has metal doors on either side, so if you have a large vehicle, you may want to use the other entrance around the corner which had a little more space on the sides. The room rate included breakfast as well as overnight parking.. The room (#636) faces the plaza next to the entrance of the parking garage. The rooms across the hall face the river. The room has two beds with a desk that hold the TV which can swivel to either the beds or the desk area. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower with a glass partition. The space works for one person. There was two bottles of water that were left in the room each day. The hotel is centrally located with lots of café and restaurants on the same side as well as short walk to shops/restaurants across the river. I can see why many of the people from our company stay here.

We had the servants' room, and the entrance to the reception, and it was a good room, and it was a good room, but the price per room is not high. The beds were fine, and the bathroom was clean and clean. There was a coffee maker and a cupcake for a cup of tea, even a fohn, the breakfast was fairly extensive and full, so I don't understand all the bad reviews. Maybe we were lucky? One tip is to read the site of Fletcher about the castle Erestein. It says you don't sleep in the castle but in the Hoeva .......

The room was on the first floor but the way it structured is a bit weird. I still need to climb few steps up and down on the same floor. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the shower. The bed isn’t that comfortable thou. Location was really good. Really close to the station. Easy to get to the city central as well. The bath is huge!!!

Dit hotel als uitval basis gebruikt voor een dagje valkenburg. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan goed. Klein ontbijt bij de prijs inbegrepen. Kamers zijn klein, maar een goed bed en een goede douche. Parkeren is gratis. En je kan s'avonds nog een biertje, wijntje of iets fris kopen om op de kamer of buiten op het terras te nuttigen. Personeel is vriendelijk.
