The place where I originally planned to travel was raining for a week, and my friends temporarily decided to change the itinerary to Guizhou. I didn't buy the ticket and didn't buy anything. It was difficult to grab the ticket to the scenic spot. But it is worth mentioning that this hotel is so good! The high-speed rail station arranged a pick-up and drop-off. One day, I rented a car and went out to play and parked in the parking lot downstairs of the hotel for the night. The hotel also reimbursed the parking fee.
The hotel is on the 11th floor, the corridor is spacious and clean, there is no smell, this is our favorite, no smell is really cool.
The room is not big or small as shown in the picture. 2 people are just right. Every day, the voice is called Xiaodu to open the projection. Every day, I wake up to eat naturally. After eating Guiyang's food, I can return to the hotel every night and be fed with the sugar water arranged by the ladies at the front desk of the hotel. It is really comfortable.
This holiday went to Inner Mongolia Harbin Yanji, this is the best hotel I have chosen in the same price range! Very cost-effective.
The front desk lady has questions and answers, and the message reply is super fast. Extra praise for the two front desk sisters I have seen in the past few days.

The hotel corridor is fragrant. The overall is very new. The sanitation is very clean. The sound insulation should be good. Except for the voices of passers-by passing by the door, I can hear no other noisy sounds. It is very quiet at night. The curtains are very light-blocking and it is very good to sleep.
Transportation: It is very close to the railway station, Qianling Mountain, White House, etc. It costs about ten yuan to take a taxi. Many attractions can be walked to. I am a more Buddhist person. I didn’t make a guide when I came to Guiyang. All the food and drinks were solved outside the hotel. You can eat street hot pot and sour beef in 5 or 6 minutes on foot. The price is affordable and super delicious. After eating, I read the reviews online. It’s also pretty good.
Service: The overall service is very good. The communication from check-in to check-out is very pleasant. Because the company meeting stayed in the hotel for an extra hour, a very handsome guy helped to delay the check-out for free. After wandering outside for two hours, I returned to the hotel lobby to rest. This hotel is situated in a convenient location with a shopping mall attached and a brisk walk to a street food court that have an amazing array of local and regional delicacies.
They also have a big lobby with great lounges for business talks.
The rooms are clean, spacious and feels homely.
The La Provence Restaurant is located at the 5th floor with a great looking garden, trees, outdoor dining tables, fish ponds with water fountain and plenty of fresh air but it needs to increase it's breakfast food's lack of choices.
Anyway all the staff are helpful, accommodating, smiling and very polite.
This hotel will be a great choice for all spectrum of travelers and overall I'm very glad that I stayed here during my trip

Very good view room, especially the first-class night view! You can sit or lie on the bed and watch the scenery, come to Guizhou for a week, the most satisfying stay!
The transportation is very convenient, you can go to the White House to check in after walking across the street, and the fare to the White House is saved. It costs about 20 yuan to go to the high-speed rail station.

Our concierge Alex, greeted us with warm smiles and helped us with everything thing that we needed. He ensured that our stay was comfortable, checked up on us in case we needed anything and was always available if need be.
If I had to rate all of my stays in hotels throughout my life, I would definitely say that Maison Albar comes out on top. Their customer service is so phenomenal from the moment you enter to the moment that you leave. If I could live out of any hotel for the rest of my life, I’d choose this one.
We stayed here for an occasion - a birthday celebration. We received complimentary drinks, cakes as well as dishes when we went for their exceptional 7-course fine dining experience. Eric, the manager of the restaurant makes sure to tell you what you’re eating, makes sure that you’re comfortable and makes sure that you don’t have any needs because everything is met before asking for anything.
The room itself is meticulously clean, spacious they provide you with high end amenities, complimentary stocked up fridge and Maison Margiela products that leaves you with a naturally perfumed scent. I also love the the daily fruit, beverages and afternoons snacks that they leave in your room.
If you are still feeling peckish after all this, you can pop into their French bakery on the ground floor, just in case you wanted an extra indulgence. Also, please also try out their delectable breakfast buffet spread.

1. Location is convenient: Subway station is right at the door, where you can arrive at major points of the city without many connections on the ground.
2. Food: One breakfast is included in my rate. Adding one costs only US$4. The variety of food is blowing me away. Without exaggeration you won’t repeat what you eat in a week if you pick only five items each day. Think about what’s provided in US hotel for $15. Only $4 here - unbelievable!
3. Staff are very courteous and helpful, from front desk to cleaning personnel, and room services. You’ll receive instant response to address your need whenever you raise it.
4. Facility: It was put in operation in 2022 so everything is new and maintained well. It had indoor swimming pool, gym, billiard room (even one for snook), and ping pong room. It is purposed to host large conferences/events.
Now the part that I think they can do better -
1. Smoking: It’s not smoking prohibited hotel, which is pretty common in China, especially not the first tier cities. But they don’t assign some rooms to be non-smoking. Instead, all rooms are smoking permitted and it is allowed in most public areas too. Though this might be OK for domestic visitors, it can be an unflavored factor to people from abroad.
2. Laundry: It doesn’t provide self-served laundry. There is laundry service but it costs dearly going by items.

GGuest UserNew World is a quiet getaway hotel. It was one of my favorite hotels in Guiyang until my last stay, April 5-7. I was not pleased with the checkin. I asked for an upgrade but the lady at the counter did not understand me and kept saying “ok”. She could speak English but did not understand English when spoken to her. It seems there were new people at the front desk and in the restaurant. Also, I was charged regular price for dinner without a room discount. I believe there was new management as well. In my room the first day I watched an English movie channel but the next day it was no longer available. I thought this was an International Hotel which is why I stay so often but it seems they no longer value their International customers. Having English TV in a hotel visited by foreigners is a needed service. I will definitely call and ask before booking another room at New World Hotel.
Overall, the hotel has a beautiful pool, sauna and steam room. Nevertheless, I come there for relaxation, good service, and comfort but was very disappointed in the service I received.
The management brought me a fruit basket after removing the English movie channel.

BBeipianbeiCome back from Fanjing Mountain because the return journey starts from Guiyang North Railway Station. Therefore, I still chose to live in Laifeng.
Location:
1. It is close to Guiyang North Railway Station. You can go there directly from the underground passage, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
2. To get to the subway, the walking method and distance are the same as to North Station.
3. Taking a taxi is also convenient, as there are many cars. A taxi from Qianling Park to each gate will cost less than 15 yuan (don’t go to the north gate, although it is close, it is all very small country roads, and the north gate trail is very far from Qianling Lake and other scenic spots, which is usually used by locals for morning jogging) (just leave), it costs about 25 yuan to take a taxi to Jiaxiu Tower or Yan'an West Road Tourism Distribution Center.
4. Guiyang North Railway Station also has direct trains to scenic spots: Huangguoshu, Xiaoqikong, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, etc. Remember to book tickets in advance during the peak tourist season.
FOOD:
Downstairs, there are tea stalls, Shaoxiancao, and bakeries, as well as fish in sour soup, Changwang noodles, mutton noodles, etc. There are many choices. If you buy fruit at the fruit shop next to the hotel, pay attention to the price and receipt, and decide how much fruit you buy.

The lady at the front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room. Thank you very much. I asked courier to deliver it to the front desk, and the lady not only helped collect it, but also sent a message to ask, for fear of making a mistake.
In short, Guizhou is worth visiting. The scenery is beautiful, the people are very nice, and there is no sense of ”brokenness” at all!

MMee LianHighly recommend this hotel for the staff excellent service especially the front desk lady named 同心 who goes beyond her duty to help me despite her ”off-day” and she provided good advice for my travel around the city. She also helped me to arrange for a day trip to 百里杜鹃 and even helped me to get refund for my taxi from the travel agent. The pick-up and fetch limousine service to and from the 贵阳北站 is fast and convenient and the driver is very handsome and nice. I will definitely stay here again if I come to Guiyang again.

TTherRaI booked a room without really thinking about the room itself. All I knew was ”round bed”.
What can I say? It was great! The bed was not only round, but also huge and the room was more like a small apartment with a kitchenette, large sofa corner and chic bathroom.
The location (right next to a subway station on line 2) was also perfect for getting to the different parts of Guiyang quickly. With its own small ”supermarket” for quick shopping right in the building and a mall right in the neighborhood, there is nothing missing here.
So I have nothing to complain about and would recommend it wholeheartedly 😊.

Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

SScarletTheWanderer🏨 Situated 30 mins from the airport this is a little gem located right in the heart of Huaxi Shilihe Beach National Urban Wetland Park. 马娟 the manager was so nice and went out of her way to make me feel welcome.
I was upgraded to a suite which was spacious, had a lovely bath and the bed and sheets were luxurious. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn’t working so it was very hot in my room but the manager found me a fan right away which was perfect and I had a nice nights sleep. The hotel lobby and stairway could be a little more clean but the views were nice from the common balcony area.
🤩 马娟 showed me where I could rent a bike to explore the wetland park and made delicious recommendations on where I could get the local noodles that were soooo tasty I went back twice! 🥘 The restaurants nearby serve a lot of BBQ and many other places have KTV but it didn’t go on throughout the night. There is a little construction across the valley during the day as it seems someone is building a big resort but inside the room it was very quiet. It’s a 3 mins walk from the river and if you walk about 5 mins away from the little town it’s quiet and peaceful by the river.
❤️ I would recommend staying here if you want to explore a gorgeous wetland park in the city or if you want a little taste of nature before flying from Guiyang. It’s also very close to the Huaxi park (about 20mins walk) and Tianhetan park is around a 25-40 mins taxi depending on traffic and time and costs about 40-50rmb.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a good environment, a strategic location, and convenient transportation. There is a high-speed rail station not far away. The hotel has a free parking lot. Breakfast or late-night snacks are just outside the hotel door. The room has good lighting and is quiet and warm.
