Excellent hotel. Not big, but this is a huge plus. The lagoon is amazing, like in a fairy tale. No queue for sunbeds and breakfast. Clean, the staff is responsive and friendly.
The location is far from all excursions (I had to fork out for the transfer), it is about 2 hours to the port. The cost of a massage at the hotel is 600 peso (they try, if you ask). Since there is nothing decent nearby in terms of food, we ate only in the hotel restaurant. There is a choice.

Most of the rooms are placed behind other buildings, cutting off the sea view (except for a few, above the round pool, which were unfortunately not open). Part of the resort, damaged by bad weather, is not put in order and a little neglected. The constant music in the restaurant, which invades almost the entire location, is unpleasant. The beach is very small. The great strength of the place is the staff, of great kindness. The cuisine is good and willingly fulfills special desires, but for a seaside location, does not offer enough fish and seafood.

If you are a solo traveller, maybe this is not the best place for you. The rooms are OK- cold AC, spacious, good linens (although stained). Shower head is more of like a hose draining water on you in one heavy stream. Resort is currently upgrading the rooms by the cliff that appears to have been devastated by typhoon. No construction works but not good to look at. Pool tiles and grouting are greenish. Wooden deck by the pool is in bad shape- they closed a portion but I would not trust the open portion. Food is not spectacular. Utensils given to me were not washed, sticky rice is riddled with insects weevil, ordinary Filipino fare. Sounds during their bbq night-very tacky. Location is OK but not special. Small cove of white sand at an area good for swimming. First day and it is littered though I saw an elderly staff cleaning it in the morning. Trash brought in by tides accumulate in the afternoon. Also roads from the main high way to the resort is rough so do not spend the evening outside as it will be tricky getting back. Staff- very few try. Majority are snobbish and lack enthusiasm maybe because I am a solo traveller that was why they brush me aside quite often. Save for the elderly cleaners and one FO guy- all of them do not smile and lack the warmth of a hospitality worker. I saw two servers warmly engaging a couple while coldly dismissing me. During my whole stay, this was the consistent experience.

We stayed here for 3days and 2 nights thankyou so much Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa 💕🌴😍 we had an amazing time here. . The staff were really friendly 💕😍were having an enjoyable stay. The resorts grounds are maintained We love this resort 😍🌴💕The resort is beautiful prestine white sand clear water and it was a perfect getaway to spend time with family, relax and felt safe and secure. 💕 thankyou Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa 😍🌴

There are two pools and one jacuzzi. The location is huge with ample parking space. Rooms are newly built, bed is very comfortable but the villas are still on renovation. They are kind enough to ask if we wanted to be on the second floor or on the ground floor and they granted our request to be on the ground floor (there are only 2 floors). Food is just okay. I think it needs improving especially the breakfast buffet. The beach is so nice! It has white sand and blue waters, the water is cool too but the pool, however, needs to be cleaned properly. There’s a lot of algae on the sides of the dark blue pool and I think they need to work on treating the pool well for healthy reasons of the guests. The staff are so nice and I appreciate them for helping me surprise my husband for his birthday. They also sang for him. Thank you!

My expectations were met. I really had a jam packed month, and I really wanted to take some rest and go somewhere peaceful and stress free. When we got in the resort, it welcomed me with warm hospitality and the place really private that I wanted to stay there longer.

An overpriced non-accommodating resort. I was chased out of the pool the first time I went in. The restaurant served me an uncooked burger. Another Philippine resort where the rules outweigh the fun of staying. Rule driven is non-accommodating. Learn some real customer service!

I travel extensively, searching for the finest lodgings, and Parkside ranks very high on my list of stays. Located on the far side of Bohol island you can experience the quiet and laidback feeling of the Anda community. The beach is secluded and easily accessible by guests but only by water for nonguest, so it feels exclusive. If you're looking for Walmart or the hottest nightlife you will NOT find it here!
