Hotels in Reed Flute Cave/Lujia Village, Guilin

This was the best hotel so far in China and we had great ones before too. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room with view on mountains and lake was magical, especially the tea drinking area where we did our own little tea ceremony. The hotel provided 2 teas for free to try, which was so kind. The owner’s dog was the cutest thing, we took her to our room to play with her. :-) the breakfast and lunch were delicious. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming and even the level of English spoken was better than anywhere else in China. Hopefully I‘ll be back one day!

The location is fantastic, next to lakes, surrounded by mountains. The hotel is very cozy, Michelle is a wonderful host, the food was really delicious, thanks to her and her family. She also helped us organizing our trip to the rice terraces. I wish we stayed more days in her hotel.

A homestay that is very suitable for a quiet and restful, the room is simple, clean and comfortable, the most important thing is that the service and atmosphere are very good, the first surprise comes from the book on the door shelf, choose the book taste online; Then the front desk lady asked if she wanted to eat Chinese or Western breakfast the next day. When her brain said ”all”, haha, she was actually satisfied, so she had a Western breakfast + a copy of hand + two cups of coffee configuration, um, as the big stomach king, I finished both. In addition, there are many foreign guests in the store, and I accidentally looked at a foreign lady. I told her ”hello” and she told me ”hello”. Haha, in short, it was very comfortable.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The room was beautiful (although it can help having a little refurbishment, especially the bathroom). The staff is incredible, nice friendly and always trying to help and even if they don't speak English the communication was so easy with everyone. They gave us a room with a beautiful balcony with view and recommendations on restaurants in the area. Highly recommend it

Excellent value, full of surprises! The room was clean and spacious, fully equipped with smart control systems, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a pleasant view. It was absolutely worth it! The location was convenient, with parking available directly at the foot of the mountain. The housekeeper greeted us as soon as we got out of the car, and the service was attentive. Across the street is the Reed Flute Cave Scenic Area, and we were given free tickets. The housekeeper also took us to the scenic area. Highly recommended! 💯

The room was very big and clean, the biggest room I’ve stayed in for a long time. Some stains on the sofa were visible, the curtains and bathroom windows were on the dirty side but not a massive problem. The view from balcony is good, you can see the sunrise if you want. The staff are quite friendly, patient and helpful and were very accommodating. The breakfast selection was OK, and again the man serving the breakfast was very nice and friendly. It’s also within walking distance to Reed Flute Cave and the nearby lake which is great.

Quite place, close to the Cave (~20min by walking), and not so far away from the city center (15min by car). And the stuffs are very warm and friendly, they make the breakfast for guests individually. The whole villa makes me feel like home. As a local Chinese, the decorations of the villa reminds me of my parents house. So, if you want to have a feeling of authentic Chinese style, you will find it here. The host offers tea art and calligraphy experience, it is so nice to talk with the host while drinking tea. The host is an opened, sincere person, I feel like talking with an old friend even we just knew each other for few days. All the best to the people I met in the Villa.

The hotel enjoys a prime location with convenient transportation and parking. It's close to Liu Sanjie Grand View Garden, Xishan Park, and Guilin Rongshan Lake Scenic Area, all within walking distance. The hotel boasts a spacious and bright lobby, elegantly appointed guest rooms, and comprehensive amenities. The hotel's staff are warm and welcoming, and the breakfast menu is diverse and nutritious. With its affordable price, the hotel is a top choice for both self-drive and group tours.

The surrounding environment is very good. It's very quiet to sleep at night. The bedding is clean and comfortable. The B&B has equipment for playing mahjong and toys for children. It is suitable for self-driving parent-child travel. The boss is friendly and will come out to pick you up if you arrive late and can't find it. It is a good choice for a relaxing vacation during the holidays.

This is a beautiful homestay on the outskirts of Guilin with amazing scenery in every direction you look! The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is the option to have food cooked for you at a reasonable price however you must order it a few hours in advance because the owner has to purchase the ingredients. There is a great cinema room, snooker table, kitchen and BBQ equipment available for guest use. WiFi connection is very strong. Taking a taxi or ride app like DiDi into the centre of Guilin takes around 20 minutes and costs around 10-20 yuan each way which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful for example they gave us free water and refreshed our towels upon request. Reed flute cave is a 20 minute walk away along a country scenic route.I would definitely recommend this as a great relaxing scenic stay.
