The best value of this hostel is the location. It is at the heart of Guilin city, walking distance to all the major attractions. There are a lot of shopping and food selections. The room is a bit old, at level 4 without a lift. The toilet has some strange smell though. For solo traveller for sightseeing, it is a good choice

The room was very nice with a lovely view on the river and the garden. The location is close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the city center. Quiet surroundings and good restaurants and amenities nearby. The owners are extremely kind and helpful for any necessity. Plus they have a really cute dog, Pu'er, two cats and a turtle as well! We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend it to everybody who wants to visit Guilin, Yangshuo, rice terraces and this amazing Chinese region.
