I enjoyed our stay at the Boyard hotel, stayed in a river, mountain view room with afternoon tea and breakfast.
Afternoon tea was a little disappointing, maybe snack buffet is a better name, Breakfast was adequate.
The room itself is very nice, roomy, very clean and a comfortable bed, I would stay here again

We stayed one night in the Boyard Hotel in Guilin. The Service is amazing, Mia is willing to help the guests. We even got a free Fruit basket. The bath is well located in the room so you can enjoy the view to the mountains while taking the bath, but as we started to fill in the bath, the water was yellow, so we decided to not use it.

This hotel has a nice location, but don't expect too much from the river view! The rooms are spacious and clean but our room (1105) had a strong smell from previous smokers.
The breakfast is rather poor for foreign guests.

We were there for the 2nd time! Great rooftop and great view! Nice and spacious rooms with minibar!

Room was modern, very large, and clean. The service is good. Having the laundry room is very convenient.
The breakfast is not very good, we went out to get our own breakfast every day after the first day. The rooftop bar and pool aren't fully built yet so that wasn't available. The gym is very musty and all of the equipment is unplugged, so it was pretty much useless.

Awsome hotel in Guiln coty location,services and a good breakfast with afternoon tea ,very cool greated with warm welcome by the hotel desk staff and found the desk staff very professional and pleasant to talk to especially Lisa and Xiao X...both had a good manner and polite attitude 😀 couldn't be more happy with my staying in the hotel along with my wife ...defntely recommend this hotel

Hotel location is good. Room is big But but there is heavy smirking smell. Toilet has bad smell , I assume it is from pipe. Which should be improved as soon as possible. Breakfast is so so. Service is good.

The hotel was quite new and very clean and beautiful. The only disappointment was the lack of a full-length mirror. There was only one mirror at the washbasin, which was inconvenient.
The food was extremely delicious with a wide variety, and I believe you won't get tired of eating it no matter how many times you have it. The staff also provided courteous and friendly service, making our stay enjoyable. Overall, it's a wonderful hotel that I highly recommend.

Overpriced hotel for what you get, the rooms are small and the AC really doesn’t really work well.
Also hotel view and rooms do not match the pictures lol

The hotel staffs are well trained. Ms Amy is very helpful on providing us information on how to go around Guilin as it is our first time to visit the city. My wife really appreciate Ms Amy's professionalism and patience in explaining to us each details. The rooftop deck view is awesome for watching sunset. Breakfast selection also good. The hotel offers local fruits which I really like to help local economy But also ECO friendly as less transportation distance is needed to bring foods to the restaurant. For sure we will be back to this hotel 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is the best hotel I've been to in China for a long time.
Cleanliness: Excellent all over.
Breakfast: Wonderful quality with great western and Chinese choices. The coffee is fantastic too.
Service: Really friendly and helpful.
Location: Near the centre and convenient.
Room: Big and really comfortable with a great view.
Roof: Go here. The rooftop is so nice and has an amazing view of the city.
Overall a truly wonderful stay. This hotel is a MUST for visiting Guilin.

Super reasonable 5star accommodation at the fraction of cost. If one is free to use didi(Chinese version of Uber), location isn’t such a big issue. However, if one expect not only comfy room but also requires 5star service, I recommend pay more for global brand hotel. Breakfast was good enough for those who are already accustomed to Chinese style. All staffs were very kind, helpful, and enough for Chinese local hotel. Stayed for 2days and fairly satisfied especially room conditions and cleanness. The only issue that I wasn’t comfortable was the lousy atmosphere at the lobby and breakfast. However, I am well satisfied with the super reasonable value. I will definitely consider back on my next visit to Guilin for sure.
