This is really the worst motel I've stayed in in recent years. I deliberately chose one that was renovated in 2021, but the facilities are so bad, the air conditioner doesn't heat up and makes a lot of noise, the shower water temperature is unstable, the windows are not soundproof and leak air, and the raindrops hit the iron sheet with a loud noise. I almost didn't sleep all night (I finally fell asleep with headphones on), and I'm not the only one who says this. The breakfast was terrible, there was almost nothing to eat, the pineapple core was rotten, the ham sausage used in the stir-fry was the kind that even cats and dogs wouldn't eat, and the steamed dumplings were the cheapest pre-made ones. I really had to bite the bullet to eat breakfast. That would have been fine, but what made me angry this morning was that I said I would cook the noodles myself (many hotels do this, I can understand), but an auntie was cooking the noodles, so I wanted to see who she was cooking for, and it turned out to be mine. She added ingredients, and then another auntie took an iron bowl to pour soy milk and milk. When I was there, four or five aunties were eating there (in the past, I had seen the staff of express hotels eat behind closed doors before breakfast time, and would not eat with the guests), just like a government cafeteria. A child kept coughing at his breakfast, and no staff member cared, and neither did the parents... I reminded the child not to cough at his food, but the family members stopped me, thinking I was meddling.
